Guapo's Restaurant

Their marinade includes soy sauce and they marinate all meat and veggies. I asked for non-marinated meat and veggies but they brought my corn tortillas in the same container as my friend’s flour tortillas (I didn’t eat the tortillas.) I did not get sick but also didn’t taste that great. Do not recommend.

Their menu is extremely misleading. The note at the bottom says that items marked GF can be made with corn tortillas and substituted with white rice and black beans. In actuality, there are maybe 5 GF marked items on the menu.

The chips are made in a shared fryer and not safe. The waiter had no clue what I was asking and thankfully the manager happened to be walking by so I could ask. When I ordered one of the GF items on the menu, I asked for it to be marked for celiac and got a blank stare until I finally said gluten allergy. When the manager came by again, I asked for the same and he said he’d take care of it.

I ended up not having any issues, but it was a lot of extra effort. The chicken was dry and bland. The margarita was delicious though.

Loved this place before my allergies. Hate it now, there are not many options and they make sure you know they are not responsible for the symptom you will for sure be feeling.
