Gusano's Chicago-Style Pizzeria

Make sure your server lets the kitchen know about you being gluten intolerant. We went a week ago and had the best service - no gluten reactions either! Our server took my condition seriously. My husband and I went yesterday for lunch. I told my server I had a gluten intolerance and she shrugged her shoulders and said “okay.” Needless to say, she didn’t pass on that information, and the kitchen cross contaminated our pizzas. I had an immediate reaction after the GF cheesy bread on cauliflower crust. She also charged us wrong (found this out when I spoke with our previous server). Just be careful. They have great pizza, but make sure the kitchen knows!!

Great pizza and they are completely safe. I’m not celiac but my wife is and she didn’t get sick or anything. The pizza taste is amazing too. I had the Buffalo Chicken pizza with gluten free crust and was not at all disappointed. We always eat here when we stop in Texarkana and have never been disappointed.

Best gluten-free pizza I have had in a long time. I requested fresh prep for the sauce and for it to be cut separately with new tools. Waitress came back later and confirmed the kitchen was following the protocol.

My gf pizza was burned on the tops and under was uncooked, bad ovens temperature… Nothing special! Grocery gluten free pizza are cheaper and better!

The server I had when I visited was extremely knowledgeable and careful. She walked me through how they did things separately, what was safe, etc. She even actually went and brought me freshly washed silverware without my asking -- just in case. The fact that she cared that much made me feel very comfortable, and I did not get sick.

Great Pizza and atmosphere! They offer Gluten Free pizzas appetizers and beer.

Ate here last night and got a cauliflower crust pizza. It was pretty good! Heavy on the cheese and not very crispy. They have an option of gluten free or cauliflower crust. It’s not my favorite gf pizza I’ve had but it’s definitely not my least favorite, and I would eat here again!

So glad to find a gluten-free pizzeria, and this place has 2 options for GF - - thin crust or cauliflower crust. We opted for the gf thin crust with pepperoni and mushrooms and it was fantastic! Got a side Greek salad and wine. Such a perfect meal! My husband is not GF and loved this pizza.

The gf crust is so good! Any pizza can be made gf with $3 up charge Felt great after!
