The quality of the food was excellent! There were many options but I chose the traditional one.

The cook came out from the kitchen to make sure the gf dish was to my satisfaction.

I felt they took serious precautions and were very cautious. Another website said they were one of three on the Dutch Celiac Association’s list of safe restaurants but when I searched I only found two restaurants on the most current list and this restaurant was no longer there. But perhaps it will appear again! (https://www.glutenvrij.nl/voor_professionals/horecaalliantie_lekker_glutenvrij/lekker_glutenvrij_midden_nederland/)

I wanted to try traditional Dutch food so I got the split pea soup and it was delicious! Came with a gluten-free roll served with a sealed individual packet of butter. It was on the gluten-low menu - they won’t claim gluten-free bc of the shared kitchen but I can respect the caution. Especially bc I wanted to try my son’s meal that was also on the gfree menu and the server told me not to bc he hadn’t entered it as gluten-free so it possibly could have a different sauce or the same sauce different container. They are obviously cautious. A different server delivered fries for the kids and I asked if they were fine for me and he told me probably but if I was sensitive maybe skip it. I asked if they were from a dedicated fryer and he told me absolutely but they change the oil two days and just in case something fell in and it wasn’t today that they changed it I should make the decision myself based on my own sensitivity. Very detailed response! I was thankful for that and skipped the fries just in case. No reaction to my delicious dinner - the classic stamppot. Or to the pea soup. I felt very good about such detailed, knowledgeable, thoughtful answers to my offhand, can I try it? questions of two different servers.

Relaxed, casual, comfortable atmosphere with classic Dutch comfort food.

Great food! Even accommodated my dairy allergy. Traditional Dutch food. Try the stampot! Only downfall was that the meal was ready in under 5 minutes. We hardly had a chance to talk to each other.

I loved the traditional stamppot with mashed potatoes, carrots, and sausage. Had one gluten-free bottled beer that I really enjoyed. They warmed up what appeared to be a pre-packaged gluten-free roll but it was very tasty. We also split the smoked salmon appetizer and ended with gin. Overall really nice, warm environment with delicious food that did not make me sick! Hope to visit here again.

Because of the great reviews I celebrated my birthday dinner here and got glutened. They put like cookie or cake crumbs under my ice cream and I didn’t notice it for a while, assumed it was safe. So eating out for my birthday was not worth it. I know we take risks each time but I expected more from a nice place. The service was awful too. It took forever for everything and our server was missing most of the time. I won’t go back.

I called to know if they have the gluten free option. They replied me "the 80%" of the menu is gluten free. I went for dinner and I had the menu "Low gluten". I requested info to the waitress that has been very rude, and underlining the fact that it was up to me to risk. Me and my friends we left, it was very embarrassing for me. I will never come back there. Low gluten menu is the option for restaurants that don't want responsibility. I can understand the kitchen is not gluten free, but the stuff should assure the costumer to take care of their food and not scare me!

Could not be happier! I had beef stew with red cabbage. But our waitress was phenomenal. She would not bring bread for the rest of the table until mine was cooked and served. A special treat when I am so accustomed to drooling at what those who are not Celiac can eat in front of me.

This is a good place to get Dutch food. They accommodate celiacs easily because a lot of their food is naturally gluten-free. Our son did not have any issues.

Was very busy to we were sent next door to Konigshut Bar which serves food out of the same kitchen. Was assured by waiter that all dishes we ordered were gluten free. Tested Fillet of Beef and the Sauerkraut Stampot with Nima and both tested positive for gluten.

Started the first of three nights in Amsterdam at this restaurant and ended up eating there every night. Not only did they do a good job of making this American celiac feel comfortable about what I was going to eat, the prices, food quality and variety were great! Calling ahead for a booking is worthwhile as they fill up fast, particularly after 8pm

Traditional Dutch food in an old world setting. They bake GF bread as soon as you inform them you are GF. Waitress was knowledgeable about GF and very friendly and accommodating. Big portions. Great food, lots of options- everything from steaks to stews to fish dishes. You don't have to miss out on the traditional dishes because this place makes most of them naturally gluten free.
