Great food. Items are marked on the menu that are GF. Staff very aware of and attentive to my GF needs. Highly recommend. GF deserts available too!

Love the fact that they have a separate GF menu. The steaks and sides are always flavorful and done well. Service is always nice and so is the atmosphere. I am very sensitive to cross contamination and I did not get sick here.

The menu was extremely well marked. All of the steaks and most of the sides were gluten free along several pastas and desserts. The staff was also super nice about it.

Amazing food! I had the filet mignon, loaded baked potato, and crème brûlée, and felt completely fine. I will absolutely being going back

Separate gf menu. Our servers girlfriend has celiacs and was very helpful. I had gf pasta it was ok not much flavor but didnt get sick.

Good steakhouse! Pretty good GF menu, I had the steak, creamed corn and potatoes and didn’t get sick.

Separate gluten free menu. Staff very knowledgeable of celiac. My son had an excellent steak, corn brûlée and mashed potatoes, topped off with a flourless chocolate cake. Delicious!

Took extra precaution and were very knowledgeable. My daughter had a burger and carrots and salad. Chocolate ice cream for dessert. Would eat here again.

Staff was receptive to GF needs. They serve chips at table side, but they aren't GF and waitress was quick to inform of that before they arrived. They do have a GF menu. My wife had pasta with marinara and sausage. No problems!

The hostess made sure the chef knew my son and I had celiac disease. The waiter was awesome and knew the entire GF menu, which had a lot of items on it. There were at least 4 desserts too! Yum! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone with Celiac!

I love going to places where your only option is not salad. Extensive gluten free menu. I left full and happy! :)

I think HC is outstanding. The kitchen and wait staff are extremely knowledgable and accommodating. The menu selection is awesome. Steaks are pricey but it's the meat packing district of Chicago. Loved it, posted pics!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! (And ill after eating here).

I was in town for a conference, and I planned on eating here for dinner because of their "Gluten free menu." So when I sat down, I proceeded to tell the waiter that I had Celiac disease and that I needed a gluten free meal and he said "no problem." So I ordered an appetizer and the GF pasta dish for my main entree. The waiter came back with an appetizer that I wasn't sure looked like what I ordered. He said that it was on the GF menu and I said "But it has bread crumbs on it, are you sure it is GF?" He took it back to the kitchen and came back and apologized and said it in fact was not GF and said he was very sorry. I again repeated that I had Celiac and that the main entree had to be GF. He assured me that it was and delivered my pasta dish I again asked him to verify that it was GF. 1/2 of the way through my meal, the chef actually came out of the kitchen looking very worried and came to my table with the waiter and said "Are you the customer with the gluten mix-up?" I said I was and he said, I am very sorry, but they gave you the wrong pasta dish by mistake." Needless to say, I got up and screamed "You have to be kidding me!" I had a few words with the manager and left. A few hours later I was violently ill. I had the worse stomach cramps, headache, and dizziness in years. I am a doctor and I waited months to go the conference to learn new procedures and I could not complete the second day because of my condition. I cannot be sick in surgery. I will NEVER eat there again.

When the manager saw that the bartender put in a gluten allergy on our order, she stopped by and told me she would make sure the kitchen took the proper precautions. The GF menu was large, we had the grilled octopus to start and I had chicken vesuvio. Both were very delicious and no issues afterwards.

Great GF menu. Staff asked is my son if he had an allergy or just a diet choice. He said allergy and they were extremely careful with his meal including the steak preparation. So good.

Very knowledgeable and the manager even came to reassure me that she had talked with the chef and kitchen staff about my hamburger. Got the gluten free bun. Very tasty!

Separate gluten free lunch and dinner menus, touched base with manager to let her know about my daughter's celiac and she assured us everything from the gluten free menu was safe from cross contamination. My daughter was not glutened, and the food was excellent. However, the service is slow so it may not be the best place for kids or if you are in a hurry.
