What a wonderful little place with such great options and knowledge about making GF food. Delicious banh mi sandwich and brussels. I’ll visit every time I’m in town.

Fantastic GF sandwiches! Had the sweet potato fries as a special of the day menu item and they were hands down the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. I am very sensitive to cross contamination and had no issues! I think nearly every item can be made GF. New favorite spot!

Absolute favorite sandwich shop. Live about an hour away and try to make the drive as often as possible. No up charge for gluten free, the owner is very knowledgeable about celiac and cooks gluten free in a separate area.

This was a surprisingly pleasant little find! It looks questionable at first because it’s more of a deli style place. Lots of sandwich options - it seems many of them are able to be gluten free. I felt comfortable when I asked and they did indicate they can prep in a separate area. I had a turkey, cheese, aioli, tomato sandwich which was grilled. Bread was ok, but felt safe - no question if it was gluten free in comparison to other bread. No reaction, no issues. They confirmed gluten free when they brought it out. I’d eat there again for sure! It was really good.

So glad I found this place! They are very accommodating for gluten free. You can have any of the sandwiches with gluten free bread and almost all of the sides are GF. I got a burger with a side salad. Also got to enjoy a cold cider that was very tasty. Staff was very knowledgeable and I had no reaction. Food was excellent.

I have celiacs and they have never messed up my order. Gluten free bread is amazing! Try the cauliflower too!!

Ate here when passing through and got a turkey reuben on gf bread with a delicious gf cider. Asked the counter staff about precautions and she quickly informed me they "take all precautions", change gloves, prepare in a clean area and toast the sandwich on a tray to prevent cross contamination. My lunch was very good and the staff was wonderful!

Great experiences! Been a regular for years. They don't have specific items marked, but basically anything on their menu can be made gluten free as long as you ask. One time, they had a special that wasn't gluten free and the owner made a special version that was gluten free so that way I could have it. They ask if they need to switch gloves. I am unsure if they make it on a separate surface, but I've never had an issue with cross contamination here. I'd say talk to the chef as they're very accommodating

Always delicious and very knowledgeable about gluten-free/celiac. They change gloves and cutting boards if you state it is an allergy.

Good quality gf bread! Yummy sandwiches.
Wonderful option when in Hickory. They know how to handle the food - gloves, clean area, etc. The sandwich was devine and HUGE! Been a long time since I've had a really good sandwich like the ones at Hatch. I had the Bahn Mi - really good flavors. I also had the sauteed brussel sprouts with maple syrup - enough for two meals! I will be back. I'm very sensitive to cross contamination and had no reactions.
