The food was amazing and the waitstaff were very educated on what had gluten in it (only a few items on the menu are not gluten free). The soy sauce is gluten free. Top notch service as well! We went two nights in a row we had such a great experience!

Wow! Almost everything is gluten free INCLUDING the soy sauce, the tempura, and all things fried. The service is great, the fish is better, and eating without a worry is the best. It’s rare to find good gf Japanese food. Also, their desserts are gluten free (including tiramisu!). Wow wow wow! We’ll be back!

ate here for the first time the other night and had multiple rolls with their GF tempura- all was amazing! And I didn't get sick either! They were very aware and on it when it came to GF safety!

Incredible restaurant - they make their own soy sauce in house and it’s gluten free; only 3 things on the menu (2 sushi rolls containing yamagobo and the eel nigiri) had gluten, every other item on the menu is safe. The food is TOP NOTCH. They only have one fryer but nothing with gluten goes into it, so it is safe to eat all the tempura items.

Lot of gluten free options here. I never get to eat tempura so that was a nice surprise, along with the karaage! Only 1-2 things on the menu that aren’t gluten free. I also brought my own soy sauce, since I don’t think their soy sauce was gluten free.

This place was delicious and made me so happy to have tempura and all the sushi things without having to worry about the gluten. We even had gf tiramisu! Only wished we lived closer so we could go more often.

There was only one gluten containing item on the menu, everything else was gluten free. I don't remember which item it was and if it was marked but just let your waiter know and they will tell you everything, the waiters and chefs there were amazing. I asked about the fryer and they said no gluten containing items go in the fryer. Had an amazing experience not just in terms of gluten but overall. We sat at the sushi bar which made it easy to ask questions. Also it was my first time trying uni and it was delicious there which I read afterwards is not always the case. Also had a variety of different sushi and everything was delicious.

Charming, small, friendly, high quality sushi place where all but one food item on the menu is GF and soy sauce is automatically gluten free.

Amazing sushi. Most is gf but had to ask. Expensive but so worth it. The freshest fish I’ve had. Good with all allergies.

UPDATE: I went back and a waiter (different than last time) confidently told me that there is NOT a gluten free fryer. I specified that I needed my food made in a separate area from anything fried. I tested my three dishes with my NIMA and all came back gf, and I didn’t get sick! Also, the food was delicious. The food was amazing, and I didn’t get sick. However, my waitress said that the fryer was not gf due to shared oil with the sandwich meal. The other reviews say it is gf, so next time I am there I will ask for clarification. I avoided anything fried to be safe this time.

Hands down - BEST sushi I have had since being gluten free. They fry their tempura items with gluten free bread crumbs. Their fryer is a dedicated gluten free fryer. They make their own gluten free soy sauce in house. You can have almost anything off the menu - they have one sandwich that isn’t gluten free. And two sushi rolls that aren’t gluten free. I had the shrimp tempura roll and I could have easily had 10 of them - so dang good. I wish we made it back for another meal during our trip. It’s a small restaurant so reservations are recommended. I will be dreaming of these rolls! And the whole staff couldn’t be nicer!

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about allergies (for me both gluten and dairy). There was only two things on the menu I couldn’t eat and it made me feel so normal ordering almost anything on the menu. All the sauces are house made and gluten free (including the soy sauce on the table). This was some of the best sushi I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of sushi. Great quality fish, lots of options, delicious food, and nice staff!! My new favorite sushi spot! The spicy salmon is buttery and delicious!!

Incredible Japanese food: 90% of the menu is GF and server is knowledgeable. All but two items are GF, and some of the best sushi I’ve had on the west coast.
A little pricey, but worth it. Where else can you get chicken karaage??

This place was awesome. Everything on the menu was gluten free except for two items. I got tempura for the first time in years and had ponzu sauce and spicy tuna, items I normally have to avoid at sushi restaurants. The staff were knowledgeable and super helpful. They also have a house made gf soy sauce which was so tasty. Highly recommend!
