I came here a few times while visiting Islamorada. Never got sick. They are very serious about taking care of their customers. We love Charline (outside bartender), Floyd the main chef, our server Junior, and the manager Chris. Most of the meats and sauces are GF (but double check jic) and they’re open late, which is great! I ate their platter, brisket and pork butt, no toast. (Anything fried us CC)

It's 4 stars for food flavor and presentation, 5 for Damaris, the staff that waited on us. Our Pit Feast was brought out on a silver baking tray with no plates but that's okay, we like each other and didn't mind picking from the same platter. Damaris was attentive and made sure I didn't get any contamination. The sauce I had was delicious (Hog Sauce) and the beans were lovely. The smoked chicken was a little dry but it was smoked so that's normal. The pork and brisket were OMG melty and didn't even need sauce! Overall yummy. FYI not a ton of options but they'll fill your belly.

Food was ok at best. Seemed like a dive bar and was not the cleanest place we have ever been. Pulled pork came on top of bread. I just ate salad and deviled eggs.

They serve their BBQ over bread so be sure to emphasize NO BREAD. Most of the sauces are GF and the waitstaff are knowledgeable
Had their bbq ribs, meats are gluten free and most of all sauces. Delicious!
