I'm not one to eat at buffets typically, but since other Celiacs had left reviews and the extended family we were traveling with really wanted to do a character dinner with food options their kids would actually eat, this was our best bet. When we were initially seated, I was just haded a paper menu with the top 8 allergens and green checkmarks/red X's for what was safe/what to avoid. I wasn't comfortable just going through the line with everyone though, so asked to speak with a chef. I was met with a little reluctance from our busy server, but as soon as I mentioned Celiac and not being able to have any gluten cross-contact, he immediately understood and grabbed a chef for me. The chef answered my questions about food prep, offered to grab any food items I wanted from the back and not the buffet line, and even offered to make some off-menu items such as the mac & cheese GF for me! (I didn't take her up on that though, she was already going out of her way for me.)
Everything I ordered was really tasty and I definitely overate lol. I tried the shrimp cocktail, roasted beet salad, cilantro rice, turkey breast, meatballs, GF dinner rolls, and watermelon. The chef mentioned the GF/vegan brownie they make was outstanding but I was too full. Great food and the kitchen/server really went above and beyond for me--I didn't have any reaction afterward.

This place is fine, chef came out, offered to make me food but also said the omelet station is totally gluten free so I went that route. Didn’t get sick but the food was nothing special.
Best lunch buffet selection for wheat and pork allergies out of the 4 character buffets at which we ate.
There are so many good restaurants at Disney with gluten free options. This is sadly not one of them. Very limited choices, especially for kids. Chef was not overly helpful either. Definitely wasn't worth the money.
I have been to disney 6 times as a celiac and this was by far my worst experience. Waited 15 minutes for the chef to come to the table to walk me through the buffet. Very limited selection so he said he could make me gf pasta so i waited and it never came! Server said he forgot-how nice. Was told i could have gf cheesecake bites on buffet but other gluten cakes were above them and i watched them being contaminated before my eyes. Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey have amazing gf buffet selection i would skip hollywood and vine!

Awesome experience! Our waitress was so friendly and the chef came out and walked is through the buffet and cooked me special foods that were 100% GF! There were also many GF options on the buffet.
Waitress was AWFUL.... Glad the chef came out and took care of us. He walked us through the buffet. I was worried about cross contamination as kids were serving themselves and food was flying. The chef cooked my kids food they wanted separately. He brought it out. If it was up to the waitress we would still be there. My kids had chicken tenders, French fries, corn and broccoli....dessert was SO DELICIOUS ICECREAM with EL choc chip cookies....

Cafeteria-style dining. Very helpful chef came and gave us a tour of the buffet line, talking us through each dish and answering questions, and then all-you-can-eat. Quite a few options, but pretty nerve-wracking for sensitive celiacs. Lots of cross-contamination opportunities. Very busy place. Not our favorite dinner at Disney, and probably would try out something else next time, but rates a solid Good.
