Love this place so much order the beans and greens, blue corn cornbread, and the side salad really fresh tasting ingredients. No reaction to food for me.

Love this place! I wanted one of everything on the menu and settled for a breakfast sandwich since those are hard to find for celiacs. It did not disappoint! They use breadblok bread too! If you’re in or near Echo Park, definitely a must visit

I shamelessly will admit to being addicted to Honey Hi! They first caught my attention with the No Fomo smoothie, and now they are my #1 go-to for a breakfast sandwich fix (and you know how hard it is to find a good GF breakfast sandwich!). I have a severe case of celiac, cross contamination is a big no for me, and highly limits my diet/eat out experiences. With Honey Hi, I don’t have any food stress and I trust all of their ingredients. The quality is just undeniable and you can taste it. I’m writing this review after enjoying their new corn bread item and saying to myself “what magic do these people have?? I have to tell everyone!” They also have added a curry to the menu which might be my newest fave from there, but not to down play the miso bowl!

I got the breakfast bowl and I loved that there’s sweet potato in there. The matcha with the pumpkin seed milk was not so great. Now I know I’m not fond of whatever that milk is. Haha!

Excellent food quality, beautiful presentation, kind staff. I rate this place a 4 only because I can get a small bowl that satiates me for maybe two hours and an iced tea and I'm already looking at close to $30 with tip.

Thank you to those of you who have mentioned the gluten-free flour cross-contact! I will definitely avoid, but I can say for certain that I have never had a reaction to their bowls or teas.

Ordered the beans and greens with a side of buttered toast. It was delicious—the greens really complement and uplift the deep brothy beans and egg. Cold brew is also good. Outdoor seating available as well as indoor, and not too busy at 10:30am on a Sunday.

While it's always exciting to find a gluten-free establishment (for our family, at least), this place was good, but not amazing. We had "that grain bowl," pancakes, and breakfast sandwich. I asked for my eggs scrambled instead of sunnyside, and they were orange colored. There is no bathroom, so they sent me down to a bookstore in the next block. The bookstore bathroom had no tp and wasn't flushing properly.

The bread is probably my favorite gf bread of all time. The mochi pancakes are light and filling. Great texture and tasty —just superb. Tight sitting quarters. The guy next to me ordered a salmon bowl. Strong fish smell! There’s a give and take here. IMO, worth it.

Had the breakfast sandwich and bought a loaf of their sourdough and had matcha/coconut latte. Even though others stated that bread tested positive for gluten, I had no reaction. Yum!

Staff was so nice and apologetic, but my Nima detected gluten in the pancakes and the no fomo smoothie. For the pancakes they discovered the flours are processed in a facility with wheat.

Let start by saying this place is Amazing! Just had the pancakes and they’re delicious. Next time I’ll order without the coconut whip. It made the tasty pancakes cold. Great service and atmosphere.

LOVE the grain bowl! I always add the island salmon. This was excellent! The fennel and nettle tahini pesto was very complimentary to the entire dish!

The service is good. It’s a small place and can get very crowded. The bread they use is made in a facility that also contains wheat. I ordered the breakfast bowl, an option without bread, and didn’t get sick. It was also very expensive for not much food.

I’m coming back here everytime I’m in LA. Friendly staff. Had the Steak Chimchurri and breakfast bowls followed by a cookie made from cassava flour. Delicious. No reaction or issues. Kitchen is totally GF. Even my non GF friends loved the food.
