Food was very meh. overpriced in comparison to restaurants in area for very mediocre dining. Waitress was happy to go over what was possible to do GF vs not and seemed knowledgeable about hidden gluten in sauces. Was able to do lobster roll with GF roll, fries are in GF fryer.

Gluten free fryer and burger buns. Food was good and it’s the only place in the area open until 11 on weeknight!

They are not celiac safe. Waitress told me there is a fryer that only gluten free things go in but it’s right next to regular fryer and there is cross contamination. She said if I was severe not to risk it. They have gluten free buns but I am not at all confident and decided to not eat and just enjoy a glass of wine instead.

**DEDICATED FRYER** We stumbled upon this place because it was one of the only ones in town open late. We sat at the bar and had some delicious appetizers including GF fries! Cannot wait to try the seated dining area next time!

Though the food was good and we did not get sick, do not be fooled. Their idea of gluten free is to carry gluten free rolls and wraps. They do have a dedicated fryer for fries, but they do not know a whole lot about gluten free options. I had broiled scallops and fries, specifying no crumbs. My daughter had blacked scallop appetizer with a side of fries. Both were good, but was one of the few non-sandwich options.

I was able to have French fries !!!!! Dedicated fryer !! Yum!! I had veggie stir fry topped with shrimp and lobster in Szechuan sauce and a side of asparagus Staff very accommodating and knowledgeable Drawbacks : ambiance could be a deterrent for some and wish they had an actual printed gf menu

The service was great,. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free needs. Second vist the wait-person wasn't sure so we asked to speak to the manager. The chef came out and addressed our concerns. Just ask.

They don’t take allergies seriously here. My wife said she had an allergy. The waitress didn’t write it down. She got a BLT on a gf bun, but was sick within hours. We had a bad feeling based on how lightly the waitress took the allergy.

The menu mentions that you can swap out the sandwiches for GF bun or wrap ($1). The fries are cooked in separate fryer. My daughter got a ham & American cheese sandwich (gf bun). It had so much ham she couldn’t finish it.

NOT celiac friendly!! I told the waitress severe wheat allergy more than once. ordered steak sandwich, they brought it out on reg. French bread. told them no, allergy. she brought it back on GF bread, we asked specifically if it was a new steak. she said yes. we questioned how did it come back so fast. she admitted cook just regrilled the meat to "burn" the bread off. again.. no, severe allergy we explain, potential for trip to the hospital (I have oral allergy to wheat) we explain. 20 min later new sandwich..or maybe not. waitress said she's "not from here" and she "didn't understand". no manager or owner around. she comped the steak..whatever..tongue swelling before we hit the door, next day still swollen, belly like a beach ball. they get 1 star for a dedicated fryer.

Food is great. We had a bit of trouble with the waitress, not entirely her fault. The place was very busy, and she had a couple of miscommunications with us.

Having a 4 year old son with celiac can be stressful in itself when traveling. I called several places listed on this app and not one could promise that there would be no cross contamination. When I called hooligans they promised everything was separate. Separate fryer for French fries, separate colander for their GF pasta and GF buns for their burgers. They were so careful and so nice! It's a small place but delicious and we were extremely comfortable with letting our son eat. Waitress double checked with the cook on all my questions and the cook came out to promise he was careful. We will definitely be back when visiting North Conway!
