Had a separate gluten free menu. Dedicated Fryer. Big menu. We ate chicken wings, French fries, chips, French onion soup, chicken wrap. Everything was delicious.

WOW is all I can say! Celiac heaven should be the name for this establishment. Pizza...no problem...onion rings...no problem...gf beer...no problem. I had to ask twice if they were sure that my food was all gluten free. It was! If you live within and hour of this place and have gluten issues, this will be your new favorite place. Plus music, bar atmosphere, just an overall great experience.

Return visit...flat bread- YUM!!! And gluten free beer on tap! Say what??? Has to be one of the best gluten friendly restaurants in the country. Unbelievable

Amazing gluten free options. I would almost drive the 3 hour drive everyday to have their GF onion rings and pork tenderloin! Been here twice and have never had a reaction (celiac disease). Super friendly and knowledgable staff as well!

I felt confident the moment we walked in and they asked if we needed a gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan menu. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about preparing for specialty diets. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free. Dedicated fryer. Fried pickles, onion rings, it’s all delicious!!! We’ll worry about the calories later 😜

I have celiac as well as a casein allergy. They have a large gluten free menu and a separate large vegan menu with many crossovers between the two. Dedicated fryer and kitchen area, all staff trained extremely well to avoid cross contamination. I eat here every time we are in the Indy area. GF fried fish is excellent. GF onion rings!!!

Absolutely amazing food!! I have celiac disease and my mom has a gluten intolerance and it’s incredibly refreshing to find a place that takes your food allergy seriously and can provide a dynamic meal. My entire family, kids included loved their meals. Well worth the price knowing what you’re eating is safe and delicious!!

I got my celiac diagnosis almost 10 years ago and this was the first time I was able to have pork tenderloin in all those years...and it did not disappoint! Frying things at home stinks up the house, is a lot of work, and makes a mess, so being able to have gluten free fried food at a restaurant is such a treat.

The onion rings were really, really good and the gluten free menu was the largest I've ever seen. Highly recommended!

We've only been once but as someone with a severe gluten intolerance, Hops & Fire was a surprise oasis! To be asked if we needed a gluten free, vegan or vegetarian menu before even being sat was a good sign, and I kept questioning my waiter on account of the size of this menu and all it's options! Breaded things, beer filled things, all things gluten free eaters usually don't find on a menu let alone trust it when they do! But our waiter was extremely knowledgeable not only on all the menu item ingredients (yes it's GF porter and bread crumbs!!! ) but also on what it would mean for me should my food be prepared wrong. We ate apps (garlic cheese bread, cherry wood smoked wings, and the charcuterie platter) and I'm pleased to report 24 hours later no reaction whatsoever! I can't wait to go back and try all the other things on the menu and hope all my experiences will be as good and as safe as this one! It's nice to feel understood and respected in regards to this debilitating food intolerance. Hops & Fire is our new dinner solution!!!! Much love!

Had a mixed experience here. We told our waiter several of us needed gluten-free. One order came out on a regular bun. They fixed it and didn't charge, but I was disappointed the order was wrong given their reputation as a gf-friendly place. Food tasted good, tho.

I ordered a breaded tenderloin, something I haven't been able to do since going gluten-free. I always had to make them myself at home. It wasn't the best breaded tenderloin but it was the best tenderloin that I didn't have to make. It was good just not to die for. And it was nice to eat french fries out and not have to ask if it was in a dedicated fryer. Drinks were good. And it was nice to eat outside and listen to live music. I will definitely go back since they have so many gluten-free options to choose from. Very happy and excited about this place! I would give it five stars but since I've only been once I am holding back until I try it a second time. Because one thing I've learned since going gluten-free you can go to the same restaurant and it will still be hit or miss.

Do not go here!!! Owners and employees are horrible...it's very loud and they don't get your order right. I ordered a hamburger medium well (had to tell waitress twice how I wanted my hamburger) it came medium rare. We had a metal tab in our food. Service was horrible, onion rings were burnt! No remorse, they did not care! Was in severe pain after eating here!

Great GF options. I am GF my husband is not. Waitress had both of our meals prepared GF without asking us whether that's what we wanted. My husband was disappointed because the pasta he got was a GF rotini when it was supposed to be angel hair. His dish would of been better with angel hair. She was overly cautious on the GF. Food was very good and they have a dedicated kitchen and fryers. Great atmosphere too. Make sure you specify whether your whole party needs GF-don't let them decide for you!

Two whole pages of GF items that are original, flavorful, and safe. I had the GF onion rings and the fried chicken wrap. My non-GF husband had the ghost pepper burger with fries. Both of us walked away pleasantly surprised and painlessly full. The server was new but knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this spot for GF and non-GF patrons alike. The ambiance was warm and there was a patio with an open fire for evening gatherings. We will be back!

Walking into the Hops and Fire, you are immediately asked if you need Vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free menus. Its a full menu- front and back. Childrens GF menu is separate. Onion rings were delicious. GF reuban was great. All fried foods are made gluten free to prevent cross contamination. Yes, let me say that again--- ALL. EVERY. TOTAL. All fried foods are gluten free to prevent cross contamination. No dessert today, but next time I hope!

There will be a next time.

Hops & Fire was everything promised. They ask your dining preference when you come in the door and give you a menu for that preference. The food was fantastic! I went with my family, who does not eat GF. They enjoyed GF apps as much as I did! The restaurant has dedicated fryers and uses only GF breadcrumbs that they make from the GF bread they bake. That means for the first time I was able to sample from everyone's plate just like the rest of my family does! This was a milestone that we all recognized and appreciated! Great atmosphere, too. There was live music, and it was kid-friendly. We all plan on coming back.

Really great menu for those with dairy and/or gluten allergies. One of the best in Indy and definitely in Greenwood. I would recommend eating at H&F to anyone, with or without food allergies. If you've been missing tenderloins and fried pickles, get over there now!

definitely celiac friendly, that isn't the problem. went in tonight for apps and a drink with my daughter. 40.00 was my bill for a flat bread, glass of wine and a greens beer. it was all really good, but that Glass of wine was 10.00? really? a local wine for 10.00 a glass? i feel it is totally overpriced and won't be going back!!

This place is just great! The GF menu is the exact same as a regular menu. (Makes me feel a little normal) the wait staff are extremely knowledgable about GF options and what they use to make it GF. Right when you walk in they greet you and ask if anyone is vegan, vegetarian or gluten free. The food and desserts are outstanding. You honestly can't tell they are GF.
