Dinner was outstanding 5/5 for sure. Super accommodating and knowledgeable. Went back next morning for brunch which is the reason for 4/5 rating. Brunch was very limited, so if you go, go for dinner.

My server happened to also have celiacs and was a wealth of knowledge. I’ve never felt so safe ordering at a restaurant without a dedicate gf menu! I went for brunch and had the house made Bloody Mary mix, a salad, the cheesy grits, and the rabbit hash. Everything was delicious!

Do yourself a favor and go to Husk! The food is absolutely incredible, the service spot on! They take extra care noting celiac and the gluten free banana pudding is to die for!

Absolutely delicious food with lots of GF options. Keep in mind that the menu changes daily. We enjoyed the best cornbread, fried catfish and for dessert—homemade banana pudding. House made vanilla wafers are made with almond flour! It was to die for!!

I don’t recommend coming here for brunch. Very limited selection, like seriously 2 items on the menu with no other accommodations available.

Great service. Not a dedicated menu, but server was knowledgeable about which dishes contained gluten and which did not. The cornbread is GF and was very good. The steak entree was fantastic. Ice cream sundae was also GF and pretty good. The bar and patio had a great atmosphere along with the dining room. I’d recommend it!

Had a great dinner! Enjoyed the cornbread, cheesy grits and braised ribs as an appetizer, all were great. For dinner I had the snapper, as there were not a lot of options for dinner. It was good but all the appetizers were better than the main course. There were no gf desserts, but they were knowledgeable about gluten as well as tree nut allergies and took steps to accommodate our table’s food allergies.

We had a very nice dinner at Husk tonight! I have celiac and while only one of the dinner entrees was originally gluten free , our waiter kindly offered to ask the chef about modifications and I had was able to have the chicken dinner with sweet potatoes in lieu of gnocchi. The meal was good, not the best I have had at all but it was nice of them to accommodate. Many of the appetizers are gluten free (including the cornbread!) and there was a GF double chocolate chip cookie for dessert as well! It was a nice dinner and I highly recommend you ask as they were happy to make adjustments but it required that I push a little. I only wish the restaurant would mark their menu or have more options that were already gluten free.

Went during Covid and they were excellent. Took every Covid and celiac precaution with grace and elegance. The cornbread is delish! I got catfish and grits with vegetables and it was very good. Waiter was unsure about which mixed drinks were gf and didn’t get an answer for me so I went without.

Went on Valentine’s Day. Not many gluten free options and my server was not well versed in gluten free options. He kept asking others.
Not a lot of options but I echo that the shrimp and grits were really good. Wonderful wait staff.
Staff incredibly knowledgeable. Our server immediately knew what items were GF and exhibited an understanding of cross-contamination. The cornbread was GF and amazing!!

The best lunch we had in Charleston by far. Hard to get a reservation. Everything cooked to order. GF cornbread. Shrimp and grits and the best beet salad on earth!

Amazing meal. Fabulous service. Great experience. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Subpar wine list. If you like fruity wine you’ll be fine. If not, 😬. I was excited corn bread was gluten free. However it was greasy and not good. My daughter made better in gym class. My chicken (served in a soup bowl) was tasteless and root vegetables not cooked at all. Hard as a rock. Hmmm. Why did we wait two months to get in?!??
Great place to eat if you have Celiac. My husband and I had a great dinner. Waiter was very knowledgeable and the gluten free cornbread was wonderful. Highly recommend if you are i. Charleston. Make sure to make reservations.

My favorite dining experience while we were visiting Charleston! Server was very knowledgeable about what I could safely eat! Service was great and food was delicious!

There is no special GF Menu but the server was incredibly helpful. They were able to modify a cheeseburger without a bun and hash instead of fries. It was delicious.

NOT at all a gluten free friendly place. NOT a soy free friendly menu Their brunch menu is non inclusive for food allergies. I would suggest skipping this one if you have food allergies.

Waiter was very knowledgeable about allergens and wrote directly on the menu to let us know what was safe. Despite this, the shrimp and grits arrived with pita chips (or something like this) on top. I would say this place has the potential to be safe and accommodating, but you need to double check everything.
