Delish meal at Water’s Edge Grill in the Hyatt Resort. The menu was largely gluten-free including steak, chicken, rockfish, cioppino, crabcakes (for appetizer). It included a pasta dish (chickpea noodles) and a salad with gf crostini, among other choices. We ate crabcakes, rockfish with potatoes and carrots and a gf mascarpone raspberry dessert. The staff was knowledgeable about celiac and we felt comfortable with the food preparation. They said they have dedicated areas for gf food prep and take all the necessary precautions. We will come again when we are in the area and we highly recommend the restaurant. It is pricey as nice hotel restaurants can be but we felt the food was high quality and very safe. We also picked up breakfast in the hotel’s Bay Country Market and they had several gf choices as well.

We have been coming to the Hyatt for years. The staff is extremely accommodating. The dedicated fryer is at Waters Edge. They can easily accommodate breakfast as well with dedicated space for GF. Unlike many places they have a great protocol and never make you feel like it is an inconvenience to help. Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable vacation at this resort. The service and amenities were excellent. Prior to our stay I contacted the resort and spoke with a manager in the food and beverage department. Managers of all 5 or 6 food and beverage outlets on the property were made aware of our visit and need for accomodations with Celiac Disease. The Water's Edge Grill was the most accommodating. They have a gluten free fryer. Gluten free breads and rolls. They will put on gloves for serving and food prep. The menu has many gluten free options noted on the menu including dessert. They also provide the room service so that was also very convenient. Room service attendants were excellent. Pool side we ordered at the poolside window and they would go to the Water's Edge Grill to accomodate us with gluten free chicken nuggets and fries and bring it to us poolside. The managers were much above average in their concern for food to be gluten free with no cross contamination and most servers were also. If they could not accommodate they would let us know which I appreciate. If going to this resort I recommend contacting management first. It was my experience that they were genuinely concerned, professional and accomodating for someone with Celiac.
