I got the soft serve twist in a gluten free wafer cone. My server was very friendly, changed their gloves, and seemed to recognize what celiac meant. The GF cones are stored very separate from everything else, in a sealed container on a high shelf.

Update! Ive been twice since my initial review, both times I had wonderful experiences. I got butter pecan, then maple walnut. They changed their gloves and scooped from fresh tubs and were overall just awesome. Behind the counter they keep a laminated list of what flavors have what allergens.

The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten and offered to get my son’s unusual flavor choice (cotton candy) from a fresh container in the back without me even having to ask. The gf sugar cone was an added bonus! The ice cream quality was great and the portions generous. We were all thrilled and it felt safe.

Cant say enough about how great this experience was. They offer wafer and sugar gluten free cones (and tons of dairy free options which is a plus if you’re dairy sensitive). They also offer dairy free and normal soft serve which is helpful for those who wish to have that option to further eliminate cross contamination risk. When I told the staff about my gluten allergy they immediately let me know they would make my order separate from others in the group, and would change their gloves, grab a clean scoop, and even open a box of the flavor fresh. Staff was very confident in their cross contamination practices and were trained so well by management. I have never felt safer getting ice cream. If you or someone in your group is gluten free (or even if not), this place is a must visit!

I’m so happy I stopped in! I had a great experience. They have a list of flavors that are gluten free (I got a mix of coffee heath bar and snicker ice cream) and they were more than happy to scoop from an unopened container with a clean scoop/gloves. They even had gf cones which is always such a treat. The ice cream was delicious and I will definitely be going back!

This was really gf friendly!!! They were really careful and used gloves and a new batch of ice cream! They have a lot of flavors that are gf including snickers!! The only thing is that the gf cones they have smelled a little old, and tasted ok. But at least they had gf cones!!

I love it here! They are all very well trained. When ordering and stating you have celiac, they immediately change their gloves, grab a clean spoon, and an unopened tub of ice cream so theirs no risk of cross contamination at all. Their flavors are so good!

We come here every year when on vacation. They are very careful about preventing cross-contamination. Always let your server know your allergies, and they will do their best to accommodate you. This is a popular ice cream store. During Covid19 times, its best to call and order ahead, then just go to the window on the side of the building and pick it up. No waiting in a crowded line.

They provide gluten free and dairy free options, and there is a lot to choose from. Servers are knowledgeable and management is on hand if there is a question. Their dairy and gluten free vanilla ice cream is great topped with strawberries!

I felt really safe eating there. From the beginning they showed me a list of the ice cream flavors that do have gluten. Everything else is gluten free!!!! Tons of flavors to choose from. They changed their gloves and I had pistachio, and peach (delicious) in a GF cone. They also have a lot of vegan flavors.

Got ice cream here several times throughout my vacation and it was awesome. Very knowledgeable about cross-contamination, for gluten specifically but also for dairy allergies, and you can tell their staff is well trained in knowing what to do. They change their gloves, use separate scoopers, and make sure everything is kept separate. They were so careful and so nice each time! As a super sensitive celiac with dairy intolerance, it was amazing to have so much ice cream on vacation. Highly recommend the vegan soft serve and vegan salted caramel!

Great customer service! I got ice cream in a gf cone. They know all of the right steps to avoid cross-contamination and they wrote down that I had Celiac when I said it. Super good ice cream too! I recommend black raspberry or salty caramel.

Most flavors that seem like they should be GF are. Cashier marks any allergies in red on your ticket. The server noted GF when she handed my boyfriend (celiac) our order. They also had GF cones (we prefer a cup so didn’t try). I noticed they also had dairy free flavors.

Aside from feeling comfortable regarding gluten, the ice cream was AMAZING. The best I’ve had in years. My boyfriend agreed — he tends to prefer just not having something than having a less-good gluten free version so he was very happy!!

We’ve always loved ice cream cafe so I was so upset when I discovered I have a dairy allergy! I was so happy to find that they not only had dairy free ice cream but they offered soft serve too! A treat I didn’t think I’d get to eat again. Gf cones were a huge plus as well!

Sadly traveled here because of the reviews, but on arrival I was told by server that the only truly safe item was the soft serve. There is a chance of cross contamination with their homemade ice cream and even the toppings were not recommended as safe for someone with Celiac.
