I was led astray by all of your good reviews. At the front they said any roll could be made gluten free. The chef and waitress said only a plain crab roll and a plain tuna roll could be gluten free because all the sauces and every other roll had gluten and they didn’t offer to adapt any other roll. Im really sad I had to walk out with nothing because when I asked to substitute smoked salmon they wanted to charge more, after removing all possible toppings and sauces. It made no sense because they wouldn’t have charged more for a Philly roll with smoked salmon and cream cheese but because I didn’t want cream cheese they were going to upcharge the salmon. Their lunch special would literally be just plain dry crab sushi since I can’t have raw tuna. I hate walking out of a restaurant because there are no options if you are celiac there are no real options worth the price

We just began going to Ichiban and were delighted with the food and hot sake. The sushi is fresh and the rolls we ordered were very tasty and reasonably priced. Ask for GF soy sauce and avoid everything with tempura or is fried.

Very knowledgeable about celiac disease and has a list that they refer to of gluten containing ingredients. Can make any roll gluten free which opens up the entire menu of sushi rolls!

Great sushi place with good prices. They've made me special spicy tuna that was gluten free, the poke bowls are good and easy to be gf. We are regulars now!

Great sushi with gluten free soy sauce! Not every roll can be made gluten free, but there are lots of gluten free options if you ask about them. Not sure about cross contamination, but I’ve eaten here multiple times with a gluten intolerance and have had no issues! Their fried rice can also be made gluten free and is really good!
