Stopped here on our way to Florida, 3 years in a row. Great gf menu. I always get the grilled shrimp. Their shrimp is so good! Nice choice of sides. And their soft serve ice cream that comes with the meals is gf too. I just don’t risk any toppings. I have celiac and have never had a problem.

I’ve eaten at Iguanas multiple times now. They have a separate GF menu posted on every table. I’ve spoken with both the owner and manager about their GF food. The atmosphere is very nice and the safety is 100%. If you’re a local or in on vacation, stop by for a meal! Their Caribbean Jerk sauce is fantastic!!

They have a laminated menu dedicated to navigating all the food options on the main menu. I am not GF, but my mom has symptomatic Celiac and I’m always on the lookout for places she can eat. They even note that the Caribbean Chicken/Fish Sauce is thickened with a cornstarch slurry, not wheat.

I got the Caribbean Glazed Mahi-Mahi with a side of steamed broccoli. It was tender and tasty. I’m a really sensitive celiac and did not get sick; neither did my friend who got the shrimp dinner. We will definitely eat there again!
Update: I have eaten at Iguanas multiple times now and haven’t felt ill yet. They have told the kitchen I have an allergy every time, and told me they change their gloves, keep my plate away from all the others, and carry my food out separately from the other dishes.
I got the bacon wrapped shrimp, and it might be my favorite indulgence yet. The food isn’t anything fancy, but it isn’t over or under cooked. Half of my non-celiac friends don’t want to eat there. They say it is bland, and there are a lot tastier options on the island. Personally, I appreciate knowing Iguanas won’t make me sick, but I would describe the food as mediocre.
(They also have a free ice cream bar for after your meal if you can have dairy. If you can’t have dairy, the options at Iguanas are limited.)

Delicious food! The broiled shrimp were excellent, and the baked potato was done perfectly. Casual atmosphere, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, and family friendly.

I was quite impressed with my experience here! The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, and they had a gluten free menu. I got the Caribbean glazed chicken with grits, and it was delightful! They say that they take extra measures to prevent cross contamination but I'm not sure what those are. I didn't get sick, so that's what matters to me!

This place was so nasty! I rarely write reviews unless it’s really good! But I need to let people know this place is awful! I got fish that was so tough it was like jerky. I’m from FL and eat fresh fish regularly and this seafood was disgusting! They were out of baked potatoes and had no other options for sides for me (I’m also dairy free), other than green beans and Cole slaw. Would NOT recommend eating here!

There was a gluten free menu and the server was willing to go and ask cooks different things. When something was not quite right on the menu offerings according to the server Thea Agee came out and made sure the cooks followed the menu. Just be vocal. They will take care of you.
