Safest place I've found to get pasta around me. They even offered gluten free bread that is not on the menu last time I was in. Hidden gem for sure!

Had the gluten free parma pizza. They said they could even do gluten free bread for the table with some notice. No reaction and menu is well marked.

I’ve gotten take out and dined in at Il Mito and both experiences were fantastic. The Parma pizza on gluten free crust was delicious and crispy. Love the fresh arugula on top. When dining in, I had the special (lobster, shrimp and scallops in a vodka cream sauce) with the chefs homemade gluten free fettuccine. It was to die for. They even give you a gluten free roll to start the meal! The insalata de dolce patata and carpaccio were great gluten free app options! We will be back many times.

Tried for the first time and was very disappointed. The stuffed mushrooms came out luke warm. The gf pizza crust tasted undercooked, not crispy at all. My rib eye steak was cooked well however the gf noodles were in clumps so some were underdone. Then the creme brulee had burnt caramelized sugar and the custards turn to soup due to being over heated. Although not gf, my boyfriends chicken parmesan came out burnt as well. Service was great, food was unpleasant to say the least.

A word of caution for anyone dining at Il Mito in Wauwatosa. Triple check twice that the food they set in front of you is actually the gluten free dish. Tonight I and a friend each ordered individual pizzas. I ordered gf, she did not. When they came, we asked the server if mine was the gluten free one. We were assured that it was. Twice. Well, 2-1/2 pieces later, I became suspicious that mine was a bit too flaky and crunchy to be the gf one. I flagged a different server down and asked him to verify which one was the gf one. You guessed it ... mine was NOT gf! 🤢 They did not charge me for the pizza, and I left the restaurant immediately so I could get home to wait for the inevitable doom. When we decided to eat there, I did so hesitantly because about 5 years ago the SAME THING happened to me at Il Mito, but last time it was a pasta dish. Needless to say, I won't be dining there again.

Awesome dining experience! We went there last night, the waiter was kind and reassuring, he even to,d me that specials could accommodate celiac protocol. The best part? The food was phenomenal! I can’t wait to go back. Thank you to the chef for ensuring celiac guests have a wonderful place to go!

Great Italian menu with everything GF marked. Server was very accommodating and they were very clear when bringing out my GF food. Delicious food, though I would get an entree over the GF pasta next time.

Awesome Italian food where there are lots of options. Had Pizza and Pastas, made to order bite size bread dots as well as GF beer (local New Grist) and all was delicious. Service was great and he was knowledgeable. Table was kinda small for a 4 group but they were quick to remove plates and items we didn’t need anymore. Recommended!!

I love Il Mito! They are very knowledgeable in the gluten free world. Only downfall is some of their food is a little salty. Otherwise, love it here! I get my own bread before the meal!

Coming from NYC and moving to Wisconsin I was doubtful that I would ever find an Italian restaurant ever again. This place BLOWS every Italian experience I've EVER had!! The chef's mother is celiac so he knows about gluten free. Actually got GF bread!! Little mini garlic knot breads with my own oil dipping sauce!! And the pasta TO DIE FOR!!! Even my husband ordered a GF dish and I nibbled off his plate too!! Can't wait to come back and try PIZZA!!! Our new usual place FOR SURE!!!

Love this place. Only been able to go a couple times since it's more expensive, but they even give a bread appetizer. I'll definitely go back!

First time I went, food was amazing! 5 stars all the way. I ended up order the soup, tomato basil salad, and this beef risotto appetizer. My own 'tapas' meal because everything looked so good. I went back a few months ago and not sure what happened but the menu was blah (which they change every few months) and the food was not as amazing. Different cook or chef preparing the food that day? But I was not impressed and havent been back

One of my favorites. This Italian restaurant offers amazing gluten-free options, including rolls, pizza, and pasta that is home made, and out of this world. Even my husband could not tell that the pasta was gluten free, and he makes non gluten free pasta at home. It has the consistency and "bite" of home made pasta made with semolina wheat flour. I love everything about Il Mito.

Il Mito has amazing food and out if this world service. Chef Fekker has created an exceptional menu and offers many if not most of the selections available GF. The GF pasta dishes I have tried were fantastic. Dessert...to die for! My husband (not GF ) and I were both beyond happy both times we were there.

This app doesn't allow me to give 15 stars. They have a good selection of gluten free menu items starting with fresh baked baby gf rolls. My friend and I shared an appetizer that was amazing, a pizza that could rival other gf pizzas and topped the evening off with a creme brûlée the waiter told me I should love. The service was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
