I am sensitive to cross contamination, and I spent the day after eating here throwing up.
They told me all the right things - a manager made it in the back, cleaned the prep space, changed their gloves, used ingredients from the back, and used a new “secret sauce” container - so I felt confident I’d be okay. They were so kind and seemed like they tried to accommodate, but obviously something went wrong.
Everywhere else I had eaten that day was a dedicated gluten free restaurant, so I know for sure this is what got me sick. I was so disappointed. The food was delicious, but I don’t think I will ever try In-N-Out again. I was so, so sick afterwards!

I have gotten sick at this In n Out three times. I always tell them I have an allergy and they still manage to get me sick. I got sick once just ordering the animals fries, so my assumption is that they are not properly cleaning the grill.
No
Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Go protein style and tell them it's allergy. They will take extra precautions.
Yes
The fries aren't floured before they fry them so they are great! Protein style is my favourite!
Protein style is basically the burger lettuce wrapped, and it tastes great!
So good! Go protein style and you are good to go.
5/24 It’s still busy, it’s still clean, and it’s still safe. This place is always busy, but it’s clean and it’s safe.

Tell them you are gluten free and they will note it in the order. Get burgers “protein style” for a lettuce wrap instead of buns. Fries are 100% safe! Never had any issues here, just don’t forget to tell them you have a gluten allergy so they take the necessary precautions for CC

I had heard it would be safe and I was not disappointed. Dedicated fryer for fries. Burger served protein style (lettuce wrapped) and on separate tray from rest of non GF order. Employee verified gluten allergy on fries and burger order. Symptom free and first fries in 4 months!

HUGE shout out to the staff at this establishment today. This was my first dine out experience at fast food since being diagnosed with lupus and celiacs. The young lady at the register quadruple checked my order and also verified with the manager and working staff about it coming through. Then once my order came up the manager stood at the counter until it was picked up telling everyone to keep my order seperate from my son and husbands (non gluten free) order. I felt so incredibly safe and can’t say enough how much that meant to me today. Thank you
