Always great! One of the few fast few restaurants that is consistently good and safe for celiacs. The staff is knowledgeable. Separate prep area. Fries are in a separate fryer and made from fresh potatoes.

Never had a problem! Just say gluten allergy and get it protein style! Fries are so good
Yes
Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Order a burger Protein style and they ask if it is an allergy. Never gotten sick. This place gets absolutely slamming though. Don’t bother with the drive thru. Always long lines inside but it is quicker.
Yes
They do not have GF buns, but you can have burgers protein style, which is in a lettuce wrap. Just add a gluten allergy and the staff takes care of it. The fries are the only thing cooked in the oil, so they are GF. The shakes are also GF. The food is outstanding and I would definitely recommend it.
Yes
I love the gluten free version of the inn and out burger! Great workers and they know about Celiac Disease! I will always come here!
Yes
Never a problem ordering the protein style gluten free burgers. The place is always rammed though so be prepared for a wait.
I've never had any issues here and I've eaten here at least a dozen times. Just tell them it's an allergy order and they will prepare it separately. Note: animal style fries and burgers are never gluten free because they grill the onions on the same grill they use for the buns. Do not order animal style at any In 'n Out Burger and you'll be fine.
Yes
I love that they use a separate grill and fryer and mark that it is an allergy on the order receipt so the food handlers keep it separate! I've never had a problem eating here. The only thing that would make it better is a GF bun. ;)
Yes
I only ordered the animal fries two different times. With grilled onions. Reacted both times, down for 2+ days. Severely sick. Maybe the grilled onions were cross contaminated. Not going to take the risk to find out
Yes
They even make protein style grilled cheese! Don't ask me how! Lol but I take it home and eat it with my GF bread. It's amazing!

protein style is the way to go!

5/24 It’s still busy, it’s still clean, and it’s still safe. This place is always busy, but it’s clean and it’s safe.

Tell them you are gluten free and they will note it in the order. Get burgers “protein style” for a lettuce wrap instead of buns. Fries are 100% safe! Never had any issues here, just don’t forget to tell them you have a gluten allergy so they take the necessary precautions for CC

I had heard it would be safe and I was not disappointed. Dedicated fryer for fries. Burger served protein style (lettuce wrapped) and on separate tray from rest of non GF order. Employee verified gluten allergy on fries and burger order. Symptom free and first fries in 4 months!

HUGE shout out to the staff at this establishment today. This was my first dine out experience at fast food since being diagnosed with lupus and celiacs. The young lady at the register quadruple checked my order and also verified with the manager and working staff about it coming through. Then once my order came up the manager stood at the counter until it was picked up telling everyone to keep my order seperate from my son and husbands (non gluten free) order. I felt so incredibly safe and can’t say enough how much that meant to me today. Thank you
