In-N-Out Burger

My go to fast food chain for GF food. Staff takes extra precautions once they know you have a food allergy. Double-double, protein style (no bun, wrapped in lettuce), animal style (special sauce & grilled onions) is the best. Animal style fries are amazing too. Fries have their own dedicated fryer.

I’ve had good experiences at In N Outs overall. We ask them to keep my fries completely separate from the rest of the order if someone is getting a burger and haven’t had any issues. Really nice to be able to get some french fries when I’m craving them!

I had a good experience at this place. The person who took my order seemed very aware about gluten allergy and cross-contact protocols.

She even had a word with the manager about my allergy and he gave me assurance that the protein style burger will be made in separate area and there wont be any cross-contact.

I didn’t have any symptoms after having the burger.

The staff here are amazing.

They mark food with a “gluten allergy” use a totally separate prep space, clean utensils, new gloves, etc. I watched them as they prepared food for us and they were very thorough.

The next day I went through drive through and marked my food a “gluten allergy” but I forgot to ask for my burger to be “protein style” (lettuce wrapped). They very nicely asked if that’s what I meant to do! They are paying attention.

I trust this in and out location a lot. We’ve eaten here several times with zero issue and the staff is so great.

Order your burger protein style, due to an allergy and they have a dedicated area for prep with separate toppings. Nothing is shared. The fryer is dedicated as well. Their shakes are AMAZING!!! You can be adventurous with their secret menu - just look for it on your favorite search engine!

Tell them you are gluten free and they will note it in the order. Get burgers “protein style” for a lettuce wrap instead of buns. Fries are 100% safe! Never had any issues here, just don’t forget to tell them you have a gluten allergy so they take the necessary precautions for CC

I had heard it would be safe and I was not disappointed. Dedicated fryer for fries. Burger served protein style (lettuce wrapped) and on separate tray from rest of non GF order. Employee verified gluten allergy on fries and burger order. Symptom free and first fries in 4 months!

HUGE shout out to the staff at this establishment today. This was my first dine out experience at fast food since being diagnosed with lupus and celiacs. The young lady at the register quadruple checked my order and also verified with the manager and working staff about it coming through. Then once my order came up the manager stood at the counter until it was picked up telling everyone to keep my order seperate from my son and husbands (non gluten free) order. I felt so incredibly safe and can’t say enough how much that meant to me today. Thank you
