I went to Island Creek for my husband’s work holiday party and I was blown away at how knowledgeable the staff was. It may be because our set of wait staff for the private party knew there was a gluten free guest, but the waiter I spoke with to confirm which food was safe was so friendly and willing to go out of his way to accommodate. They were able to cook my steak in a separate pan and gave me roasted potatoes because the fries weren’t safe. They also brought me sorbet for dessert because I couldn’t have what the group ordered. I’m very sensitive to gluten and not once did I feel like I was having a reaction (still feel great the next day). I would definitely go back.

Delicious- best meal I’ve had in Boston. Fresh, local, and knowledgeable attentive staff. They modified my dish to keep me safe and it was amazing. No reaction from this celiac! Had the Island Creek oysters, Eastern Halibut (with modified sides), and a mocktail.

Had a few oysters with lemon and a salmon entree with quinoa and veggies. It was really good and the waiter confirmed they’d pan fry it to avoid cross contamination on the grill

I have multiple allergies on top of celiacs. My husband and I were in town for business. Knowledgable staff and kitchen. Had phenomenal oysters as well as stripe bass over chorizo and white beans. Impressed by far. Highly recommend. And ask for Chris! He understands and looks out for you!
