Ivy's Bohemia House

A really enjoyable restaurant in an old house. Rooms are bohemian charming. Generous portions and very knowledgeable staff. We had the GF NY Reuben and the lunch social of chicken salad in GF bun rather than croissant. Both were wonderful. We couldn’t have the fries because they are beer battered so I got a side salad and my husband got fruit. Once again very hearty sides. They also had three flavors of homemade GF macaroons. Definitely stop here!

I have gone here several times on trips and it has become a staple for me. Good portion sizes, knowledgeable staff for Celiac. The restaurant has a separate GF menu and most things can be made GF. For those who have not come to Ivy's in a while their fries are NO LONGER GF. The waitress let me know they switched suppliers a little while ago due to sourcing issues out of necessity (or something like that). Just be aware of this, and ask questions if you're unsure of something.

Our server, Sarah, was very helpful with questions regarding cross contact. She confirmed that they have a dedicated fryer! Let me tell you, the steak fries are incredible. The food was delicious. The gluten free menu was provided without request. They also have vegan options as well. I am very sensitive and did not get ill. They did offer gluten free desserts, but it was in the same case with all the other desserts, so it depends on your comfort level. Their outdoor seating is dog friendly.

Visited here during a trip to the sand dunes and was so pleasantly surprised! The sandwich was the best I’ve had in years, and I will be returning next time I’m in the area.
