At the outset of our dining experience, I told the waiter that I had a severe allergy. He advised me of the options that were available to me. I ordered the clams appetizer. When he brought out the appetizer, the entire dish was contaminated with bread.
Although the appetizer was not consumed (and was eventually refunded) and I got a entree with gluten free bread, I ended up getting sick anyway.

Really good food! I had a lobster roll and lobster bisque and both were delicious and safe.
For people with celiac, the options are limited. GF buns for lobster rolls, the steamed seafood items, and some sides like corn and cole slaw. If you're just avoiding gluten for other reasons, they can prepare fried entrees with GF breading, which was delicious, but they use the same fryer for everything, so my daughter who has celiac can't have their fried food, which is what we originally went there for.
Have had gluten free fried shrimp and gluten-free fried calamari here. Both were excellent. I have also been told by the hostess that if I ask for it any of the sandwiches can be made with gluten-free bread. So that would include lobster rolls shrimp salad rolls and whatever other sandwiches they have. For some reason this is not marked on the menu but if you ask the server they are consistent and offering gluten-free items. If you miss fried seafood this is an excellent place.
