The server answered all our questions and recommended GF option in the menu. He knew that the salad we wanted had croutons and made sure they were removed. The kale salad with avocado was good and huge! There tons of other GF options too.

My husband and I got a late breakfast at Jake’s today. I was pleased to see they had designated GF choices. I was going to order the huevos rancheros but Connor, our server, checked with the kitchen and they could not guarantee that the corn tortillas were GF. I really appreciated that our server understood the seriousness of celiac and made the effort to insure my safety. I ordered the eggs in purgatory instead and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito. Very pleased with the menu and the dedication and understanding demonstrated by our server.

Waitstaff are very helpful in identifying safe items to eat. The restaurant isn’t strictly gluten-free, but they make efforts to avoid cross contamination and have a number of food options suitable for someone with Celiac Disease (who is also dairy free and vegetarian).

Came here and ordered the veggie eggs Benedict. Waitress was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and they prepared my food in a separate pan. Have a separate GF toaster as well. Overall great experience

AMAZING breakfast. GF toast and oat milk options! Simple menu but the food is SO GOOD, HOT and came out fast. Very well plated also. We really loved this place, it is a gem!

Staff is very informed about GF safety and addressed all concerns. Had the pastrami sandwich on gf bread which they have a dedicated toaster for and could even have the home fries which are grilled chunks of potato. Very tasty and no reaction!

Staff was friendly and knew exactly what I could have, including mentioning that their hash is made separately and is safe and that they make an allergy note to cook your order separately. My breakfast sandwich on gf bread was delicious and the hash was even better, and I felt great after. Highly recommend!

Have had the Eggs in Purgatory, the Cuban Sandwich, and various versions of the Eggs Benedict. I usually order over the phone if ordering takeout so I can discuss which options are allergy friendly and substitution options. The staff are always very helpful and I've never become ill despite eating here many times. Non-gf friends and family always request brunch from here when they visit!
