Awesome place glad I found it most of the menu is gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer. All the batter is gluten free. I had the scallops to start and the 1 piece cod and fries. Everything was amazing, so good!

Tried the take out and dine-in. totally celiac safe. fish n chips, moza sticks, calamari, onion rings, fried pickles. Everything is so good. They even have gf soup and desserts.

My friend and I brought our children to Jan’s because I am celiac. I have eaten here before with my children and my husband and had a great time. This last time was awful. I have to say I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Our server was awful. She made many passive aggressive comments to us about our smaller children. It was the worst way to end a great day. I mentioned to the server I was celiac as we were ordering she went yea yea yea. Rolled her eyes when I asked if something was safe and made me feel like I was silly for asking. We ended up asking for crayons and paper because the kids were antsy, they quieted down right away once they got them. The serve went to the table next to us and went would you like to sit outside because of the *signals to our table* That table went no it’s ok. Then asks again and that table moves outside. The served closed the door and then proceeds to point to us (not discreetly) and I can only assume say something about how unruley our children were. They weren’t. they stayed at the table but they are all aged 1-6 so we’re talking. So kids. It was a Wednesday so wine was half off, my friend and I split a bottle. The server as I was paying was said oh he’s quiet a handful (referring to the baby) who was silent once he got his food and said I would need to drink too to deal with that. It was I guess suppose to be a joke but it was very insulting. She didn’t come check on us and we did have to wait a long time to just pay our bill. It was very uncomfortable. There were more comments but those are the ones that stuck with me. Our servers name was Melissa. It was honestly the worst service I’ve ever had. We just wanted to have a nice dinner with our children. 2 moms doing their best and we both came out feeling like absolute garbage Food was good.

Excellent service with a celiac person on wait staff. They were even able to accommodate a shellfish allergy in our group while serving fried gf fish!

The gf fish n chips was excellent, the serving of onion rings was huge, and we loved the mozzarella sticks!

Wow! This place is amazing!! Almost everything is gluten free and they are very familiar with celiac disease and taking care of folks. Our server Meredith was fantastic! She also had celiac and was able to reassure us that everything was safe!! I got to have mozzarella sticks! This is a must visit!

What a treat to have Gluten Intolerance and know you can walk into a place that has such great comfort food offerings that are listed GF. The calamari were amazing - separate celiac-safe fryer, too! And the Cod and Chips came on a batter that was light and crispy, with the juicy fish glistening moist inside. Sauces were homemade and very tasty! Very elevated and very delicious!!

I have been sick since I ate there. 20 minutes after leaving I got sick. More than 24 hours later I am still sick. I don't know what happened or how when it was all gluten free...except my daughters burger. Server brought out my.plate and her plate together which usually never happens when I say I am Celiac.

They have a lot of gluten free and dairy free options. Gluten free breaded fish and chips, calamari and onion rings and more. Lots of seafood dishes but also has other options too. You can see the cooks cooking your food and can ask them questions about allergies.

OMG gluten free calamari...that's INCREDIBLE!!!! It was like a dream come true. also wonderful gluten free fish and chips, clam chowder (has bacon). Dedicated fryer and prep area...they are serious about gluten free and just amazing find. highly recommended and right across from the sea.
