I’ve been to other Jersey Mike’s locations and had a great experience. However, this location is awful. They’ve given me the wrong sub with the wrong toppings like 3 times in a row. To the point where I stopped going. The customer service is very rude. Would not recommend.

Got glutened here. The staff were rude and they didn’t gf protocol. They didn’t switch knives or gloves for anything and looked at me like I was crazy when I double checked it was safe to eat. Whoever owns that franchise is a d*******

I had a gf sub once. Just not a big fan of overall taste.
Yes
The staff here did a great job. They cleaned the slicer and counter, washed their hands and changed their gloves, and pulled out fresh paper to make my sandwich. It is Udis bread so it's pretty dry, they might want to try putting thinly sliced apples on the bread to moisten it and add flavor like some places do. Also, little packets of mayo would be a welcome addition since I did not get mayo since I saw them slather the utensil on the Gluten bread order in front of mine and then put the utensil back in the mayo. But the staff was great and one of them was training other employees on how to prepare a sandwich for someone with celiac disease.
Yes
There is one employee who takes special precautions to prevent cc. The others had no idea what celiac disease is when I mentioned it. 2 of the 4 Times I went I got glutened.
I just had a udi’s sandwich. They have a machine just for the gf sub. It tasted great. I ordered the 13.
Yes
$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
