Delicious sandwich and great precautions. Everything was cleaned well before my sandwich was made. The took a step above many other jersey mikes and not only put my sandwich on an extra wrapper but put the wrapper on a tray to make sure nothing got near my food.

Amazing service! The employees ensured that the slicer was cleaned, and they were extremely careful when making the GF sandwiches!

Read on line how they go the extra mile to not have cross contamination, have eaten here twice and watch as they make my sandwich and can say they do go the extra mile. Great when you Celiac. No issues after eating.

They have gluten free bread, cleaned the equipment before preparing my sandwich, and used fresh utensils and cutting surface.

Staff was very nice and even got fresh lettuce from the back for my celiac daughter. They also spent time on cleaning the slicer.

Joe and I did go to the New Jersey Mike’s and I was very impressed with how they handled me having food allergies. I have Eosinophilic Esophagitis and have to eat gluten free due to having food allergies to wheat, rye, mustard and cantaloupe. I recommend going either when they first open or like 2:30ish when they are not busy. I looked online at the menu to see which meat and cheeses I could have and of course they have the gluten free bread(so good too). The worker immediately stopped everything cleaned the entire counter then cleaned the meat/cheese slicer for 10 minutes 😱 he kept apologizing for how long it was taking. All along his manager was watching everything he did. Once finished cleaning he went over and washed his hands again and got a new knife to cut the gluten free roll which is kept in its own sealed bag. I got the big sandwich so I could save half for Austin. I got a ham and cheese sub with oil and vinegar. Now all the meats and cheeses are kept in there own space away from anything else so that was nice. But as far as condiments and veggies go I would not let them put any on my sub because they use the same knife in mayo, mustard and then there hands in and out of all the veggies so big cross contamination issue. That’s why I just got the squirt bottle of oil and vinegar. I’m sure they will go out back and get fresh veggies and separate condiments that are not contaminated. Again he kept apologizing fir how long he was taking. I kept telling him no no I appreciate what you are doing so much and I’m so impressed at the precautions you take for food allergies. So I definitely will go again. It was so delicious and my son Austin who has Celiac Disease really enjoyed his half 😊

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
