I’ve gotten glutened here and I’ve also had a good experience here. I got a chipotle cheesesteak both times and while it was a blissful experience to eat a cheesesteak that I didn’t make myself, I don’t think I’ll go back because I got really sick that one time. Maybe I’ll try to be extra explicit if I do go, definitely order in person and explain your situation if you order from here.

Super polite and kind staff - cleaned everything - the counter - slicer - changed gloves and washed her hands to the elbow before starting my order. Then Apologized to ME for taking to long on my order because of the extra cleaning - girl you don’t have to apologize! She then politely explained to two other customers that it would be a minute because she needed to take the extra time for a GF order because it was important to be as safe as possible.

Wipe down everything before making a gf sandwich. Udis rolls.
Being new to Celiac, I was worried so I showed up when they opened. The young man (Zack Guthery)who helped me was amazing. He immediately took off his gloves washed his hands, and put new gloves on without having to be asked. He then proceeded to tell me that it was a good thing I came in at opening so as to avoid as much unintentional cross contamination as possible even though they are very careful. Thanks for a great experience. The sandwich was great too.
We were on our way back home from a road trip and looked up GF places to eat, came across Jersey Mike’s in Williamsport, Pa. so glad we stopped, they have the best GF subs I’ve ever tasted, the bread was actually crusty and didn’t fall apart as I was eating it, it was made away from the other subs, I had the roast beef and provolone, meat was delicious, the service was great, we were greeted by Zack and James, very friendly, helpful, and understood my gluten issues, James made my sub, Zack did my husbands regular sub. Since there aren’t any in my area I just might make the two plus hour drive back because it was so good, I honestly never thought I’d taste a good sub again since going gluten free, my husband loved his as well, he said he’d be more than happy to drive all that way again. Say hi to Zack and James if you go they were great. Oh and the bathrooms were very clean.

$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
