I was very impressed. They asked if I chose gluten free due to preference or allergy. When I said allergy they switched gloves and wiped down the boards as well as got out a new knife. They put the gf bread on a clean piece of paper. The bread stayed on that while preparing. They were Knowledgeable on which ingredients were gf. They put my sandwich on a clean piece of paper to wrap it and put it in its own bag. They also have udis gf cookies.

Highly recommend the Jersey Mike’s in Heath Ohio. They go above and beyond to wipe everything down, get clean utensils, and change out condiments before preparing a delicious GF sub. They serve a gluten free bun that tastes good. It is Udi’s brand that comes individually fresh and sealed. All workers, and owner, are accommodating to any of my celiac needs. They are knowledgeable and KNOW which condiments are GF. I eat there at least 2 times a week. The price of the bin is a few dollars more, but well worth it...I can finally eat a sub and enjoy it without the fear of getting contamination. They also have a variety of GF soft cookies, also from Udis’s.

Sub was amazing best GF bun I have ever had and I have not had a real sub in 5 years thanks Jerseys Mike for carrying about those of us with celiac. We may not be able to eat bread but we sure do want to and you made it so I can have the kind of food I want. I have had Celiac since 2012.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Gave suggestions for best results. They do use udis bread and it didn’t hold up too well for the price but the sandwich was tasty. They do their other breads on the grill so cold sandwiches are better for cross contamination. The convenience was a high point!
$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
