Very safe with CC. Staff change gloves, wash hands, wipe down equipment and prepare sandwiches on paper and using a clean knife.

I am always impressed when I eat here. They wipe everything down use different utensils and are so careful. Love it and feel safe here.
Let me start by saying that Jersey Mike's does a wonderful job going through the proper procedures to ensure safety and no cross contamination. They change gloves, use a paper to place sandwich on, use a separate mayo that squeezes and also they clean the grill for hot sandwiches. I had no issues and loved the gf sub bun. With that being said, you have to do your own research in any case of eating out with celiac. I looked up their allergen chart prior to eating there and made sure to order a gf sub. Not all subs they offer are gluten free. You must be your own advocate.
Yes
They stated that they can make ANY sub gluten free which is not true. The meatball and chicken parmesan is not gluten free. They also offered us cookies after just telling them about having celiac. If you go here, make sure you research what you can and can't have otherwise. Would not recommend based off their lack of knowledge.
No
Husband had gluten free bun and didn’t bother him. Staff very friendly. Changed gloves, used different cutting board and knife. Different mayo bottle. Seemed very aware of surfaces.
The bread was really good, and the staff has been well trained to avoid cross contamination. It was great to be able to eat a sub sandwich again!
Yes
$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
