I Ordered a GF giant and a GF regular. Before ordering I made sure to tell them we have celiac and cross contamination needs to be taken very serious, making sure they could accommodate us. The guy helping me assured me he changed his gloves after I asked, but then cut the GF breads with a contaminated knife. Luckily my 11 year old caught it and the guy asked if we wanted new rolls. Of course we did, he was very nice about it. He then asked another employee to grab cheese from the back. She came back carrying it loose in her gloved hands. I had to ask if her gloves had touched gluten. She told me they were new ( which idk if that's true or not bc I wasn't watching her) after placing my new rolls that were put onto the same paper wrap (🙄) as the rolls that were cut with the dirty knife. They carried them to the gluten free station. The girls who's name started with an L kindly changed her gloves. I asked if I could get oregano on 1 hoogie and on the side for another. The girl who was doing that used the oregano from the GLUTEN station. When I questioned her she was visibly irritated and said it doesn't matter bc it's just the stuff inside the shaker. But I then had to say yes I understand but once she put it down the other employee immediately grabbed the top ( the part with the holes) with gluten contaminated gloves to prepare whatever she was making. So that shaker is obviously contaminated with gluten AND at the gluten station, why not just use the one from the gluten free station. She was annoyed and threw away the first one she made and made another, with barely any oregano inside. They also forgot to put oregano on my hoogie, and I asked for 2 sides of oil/vinegar for both hoogies but they only gave me 1. On top of that It was a $5 up charge of gluten free rolls. Needless to say once we got home, we felt uneasy about the whole thing and gave the hoogies to a non gluten free family member to avoid getting contaminated and sick.

Ps. I apologized for being an inconvenience to them about 10 Times

Employees need to be better trained in cross contamination and protocol of allergy and food safety.
