Awful service and management!!! The kitchen crew’s lack of knowledge on food allergies and the poor service is a direct reflection of the manager’s (Lauren) leadership! DO NOT EAT THERE IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY!!
This is more than the order being messed up. The kitchen crew should have known that placing a hamburger on a regular bun is not acceptable for an order with a gluten allergy in which was ordered with a gluten free bun. The manager treated us as if we were disgruntled customers that were upset about an order being messed up rather than Lauren’s kitchen staff serving a gluten-allergy-customer a hamburger on a regular bun. This could have been avoided if the staff would have just come out and stated that they didn’t have a GF bun, rather than serving a regular bun and not even mentioning it!!!!! Obviously, the manager Lauren and her kitchen crew does not understand food allergies nor do they take it serious!!!
The kitchen was out of gluten free buns so the kitchen crew put it on a regular bun and if I had not inquired about it, we would not have been notified until it was too late!!!! This is unacceptable!! The kitchen crew/chef should be knowledgeable about the items on their menus and especially about allergies. I understand that some restaurants do not serve GF options. However, this restaurant clearly offers gluten free options on their menu.
