Jimmy Max is a staple in our house! They are extremely cautious with cross contamination as they have someone in their family with celiac. By far the best gluten free pizza on Staten Island! And they have so many other great options with a dedicated fryer. I always recommend Jimmy Mac to my celiac/gluten free friends!

Great service! Rice balls and mozzarella sticks are delicious. Even members of family who don’t have celliac love the gluten free rice balls and mozzarella sticks! Pizza is great too! Always enjoy our family dinners there. Servers are always very friendly and take mine and my daughters celliac very seriously.

This place used to be the only one I trusted for a good pizza , I even advertised it whenever I could , unfortunately in November I had pizza delivered and I almost ended up in the hospital due to I assume cross contamination which unfortunately I am very sensitive to (celiac). Perhaps I’m just too sensitive to cross contamination, I think for celiacs who are not so sensitive as I am Jimmy max makes delicious GF pizza, sad to say not for me any longer .

My daughter has Celiac. Owner came over to us to talk. He explained his son has a lot of allergies. So he made most of his menu gluten free with dedicated gluten free fryers for French fries and mozzarella sticks. Such a nice guy. We love going here.

Owners son has celiacs. I know when ordering gluten free they are sensitive to the request and the food is great! I once ordered for delivery and they called back to confirm the order before delivering. Highly recommend.

My favorite place to get pizza! GF is personal pie so I get it all to myself! Almost everything on the menu can be made GF. Owner has a family member who is celiac so it’s very safe to be there, and all of the staff knows what it is and how to best help you! I am a very symptomatic celiac and I haven’t had any issues!

Ordered online from GF menu. Called to confirm chicken Alfredo was GF because it came with bread. It was not even though I put celiacs in the notes as a reminder. They sent a new order and it was a container of plain GF pasta, no sauce or chicken.

It’s a very good place for people with celiac! Everything is super delicious and they carefully prepare all the dishes separate. The owners son has celiac, so they really take care. On Tuesday they have a gluten-free day with a lot of tasty dishes.

I want to warn everyone to be careful ordering from Jimmy Max! Do not order online, please call and ask questions. For some reason they list Shrimp Parmigiano on their Gluten Free Menu, but only the pasta is gluten-free, they still bread the shrimp with regular bread crumbs. Even though I added a note to prepare everything in the order gluten-free and asked them to call with any questions, they delivered a dish with gluten. Thankfully I called to double check before we ate too much. We are very upset because we expected more from a restaurant with so many fabulous reviews. Also their gluten-free hamburger is just a piece of meat without a bun, thankfully the fries are gluten-free.

The staff was so friendly. On the menu anything that was or could be gluten free was marked. The pizza with vodka sauce was thin and crunchy to perfection. And they had gluten free French fries which usually no one has, which was amazing. Everything was outstanding - no complaints. If you are looking for a delicious variety of GF foods come to Jimmy Max.

The gluten free white pizza was definitely one of the better tasting pizza doughs I've had. The only negative I have was that they forgot 2 of the appetizers we ordered on our take out and we didn't notice until we got back to hotel. After driving 7 1/2 hrs from Maine we were not going back out. I emailed them about it and haven't heard back.

Delicious gluten free food among regular dishes. Say if you have celiac and everything will be segregated, even if it's takeout. Best gluten free pizza on the island - like - even non celiac people eat it and love it (get the Jimmy Max special.) (White clam pie on request)

Pizza is delicious and has other GF options, but kitchen and wait staff are unknowledgeable in safe allergy/CC practices. One time I stressed gluten free/GRILLED chicken parm due to celiac and it was brought to me on a hero roll. Waiter was clueless what the problem was. GF pizza is not cooked on its own pan. I have ordered chicken soup, no noodles due to celiac and they put a huge chunk of focaccia bread on top. I’m a very sensitive celiac and can’t trust eating there anymore. BUT the food is delicious.

max special is delicious. I need to eat 2 of them to be anywhere near satisfied. 10" personal thin crust with a delicious almost buttery flavor different from any other gf pizza I've tasted.

I almost missed it. I drove here at night and I'm not from the area. There are no lights on the outside so I just parked nearby and walked until I found it. Lively and loud restaurant on a Wednesday night. The gluten free pizza maxx style was very good. Crispy thin crust and great stringy cheese with flavorful tomatoes. Highly recommended!

It's a bar and restaurant together. The service is OK. We waited a while for our food to come out, probably 30mins. The wait staff was friendly, but most were young. The dining room was "quaint". They do not have a GF menu. They only GF items they have is GF pizza and pasta. Of course on the menu there are things naturally GF like shrimp but you have to tell them you have CD. The pizza was AMAZING! I've had CD for like 7 yrs and have never had a pizza that good. It was crunchy and cheesy and had just the right amount of tomatoes and basil. They only offer it two ways, Maxx special or regular. Get the Maxx special. I'll go back and wait and be annoyed with the staff just bc the pizza is that good.

They offer GF catering. All my guests enjoyed it whether they were celiac or not.😋👍🏼

The grilled chicken parm with gluten free penne was very good with the house salad. The waitress was very attentive and place was clean. A good find while visiting friends ... Would come back again :-)
