My favorite gluten free Mexican restaurant. Large variety of gluten free items marked on the regular menu. I have never been sick after eating here and the chicken enchiladas are amazing!

Just a disclaimer- am gluten sensitive, not celiac.
Staff not knowledgeable about their food at all. I asked if their ground beef had wheat/gluten in the seasoning. They said they didnt know and redirected me back to the menu and said anything with a diamond symbol was safe. They literally had 8 options... 3 of them being chips and dip, 2 being salads... wow...
I wouldn’t recommend for celiac or gluten sensitive. They just dont seem to know their menu. Lack of variety... next time I will stick with Chipotle- cheaper and more variety.

I loved this restaurant before I had celiac but unfortunately it does not have a dedicated fryer for their chips. They do have a gf menu but the only entree that I liked was the chicken enchiladas. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you are very sensitive.
I ate here once and the food was fantastic, but I did get sick afterwards. Although they have a great gluten-free menu I think the risk of cross contamination is too high to be considered Celiac friendly.

Ask at the front counter for the gluten free menu. It is very limited but it gives you an idea of what they have. Anything on the menu can be substituted for gluten free options. I had the Shrimp Tacos and have them substitute the flor tortilla for a soft corn tortilla. I have an intolerance to gluten so I can have trace amounts. Just be aware that the same fryer is used for some of their items.
Yes
Shredded Chicken Enciladas without cheese sauce were wonderful. Gluten free bean soup is served with it. I put some of the bean soup and salsa on top and it was delicious.
Great experience! When I mentioned allergies the manager came out so we felt comfortable (both dairy and gluten allergies). They were so kind. We do not have celiac and were able to eat many things. They have some things labeled on their menu and were able to tell us about everything else we asked about. I did ask for my review and can say the chips to share a fryer if that’s important to you. Everyone loved their food!
We visited with a bit of trepidation but there were no issues! They have upped their GF game! We used to come here all the time but after Celiac many of our favorites have fallen off the list. Thankfully, Jose’s have added many GF items to their menu and the server was aware of the “allergy” not just the preference. Glad you are back in our lives chips and espinaca!

This has been a recent go-to restaurant for us because of options and an easy menu. At least half of the menu is marked as GF. Chips and queso are GF. Staff has been helpful.
