Tried JOTORO while on a trip. Our server wasn’t friendly or helpful so I was nervous. I ordered a burrito bowl and it was covered in some flavorless cheese. It was really not appealing visually or taste wise and I definitely would not go back. I did not get sick.

Server took great care with my order. Said enchiladas and tacos can be made with corn tortillas. Chips are in a gf fryer. I had the mojo pork enchiladas with rice and beans. (My food came out from a separate server. ) It was very good. The prickly pear margarita was also tasty!

Once we arrived we were informed at there is a high level of possible cross contamination from the server. We ended up leaving. I appreciated the honesty!

DELICIOUS. I ordered BBQ beef tacos on corn tortillas with a side of rice and beans and a prickly pear margarita. It was incredible!! Server was helpful and I felt very safe. Will return!!

If your in Tampa and need a safe place to eat give this place a try. Server was super knowledgeable. Food was very good. I had the steak tacos. The chips and salsa are gf safe.

Loved this place, 5 star Michelin chef owns it and the food choices are incredible. Margaritas are available in many delicious flavors. If your in Tampa make a point to try it if Mexican is something you enjoy, you won't be disappointed

Had a delicious salad here and no reaction. Host stand had an allergen menu that was very helpful.

We had a group with multiple allergies (gluten, MSG) and I’ve never had a better experience with a server. Shannon was so knowledgeable of food ingredients and preparation and was very cautious and helpful. The food was great. The music was loud, but we were fortunate to get a quiet table outside. Overall a great experience and we will be back.
There are many gluten free options on the menu, although the friers are cross-contaminated, so bring your own chips if that’s important to you. They can make almost everything on the menu gluten free, with the exception of the fried food.
