It was very tasty, but I did feel very gross and nauseous afterwards. Could just be all the oil rather than cross contamination that did it - hard to say. Personally I wouldn’t be back because of how it made me feel.

Food is delicious and I feel very safe eating here.

So so so good! Ate at their sit in location next door. They were very reassuring that the entire menu except the sandwich buns is GF. Do let then know if you are celiac and they said they would take extra precaution to avoid the surface where they prep the regular sandwiches. Everything was delicious - had the fried chicken, the GF chicken sandwich (my favourite), chicken nuggets, and fries.

A wonderful little restaurant near the train station. All of the fried chicken is gluten free! The only gluten on the menu is in the sandwich nuns (but they have GF buns). The fried chicken tasted roughly similar to KFC - what nostalgia! We would definitely return.

I’ve been hesitant to try this due to it being fried, but finally decided to give it a whirl today. It was so good! I got the junior juke sandwich and the hush puppies with chipotle maple dipping sauce, which was lots of food. I also got the cookie but it was massive so I saved it for later. The sandwich flavours were alright, just nice to have the option for fried chicken. I’m excited to go back and try something new next time. Most of the menu is gluten free, according to the staff the only thing on the premises containing gluten is the sandwich buns, but you can get a gluten free one and the staff change their gloves to prepare a gluten free meal. Staff was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions and ease my anxiety about it all being gluten free. Not really much of a space to sit if you want to eat it in, but good takeout option.

In hindsight reading the reviews, this is a takeout place. The neighborhood isn’t really where you would picnic. We ended up taking it to Stanley park to eat. It was good, crunchy fried chick. Tried the Mac and cheese also, it was okay. Safe, and something I don’t get on the regular.

Amazing! It had been so long since I had good gluten free chicken and fritters! I would drive 6 hours just to get the fritters! Just a heads up though, if you are dining in, you have to go to Chickadees bar next door. I had my son with me and it wasn't exactly kid friendly. My fault for not doing more research but the staff was great and the food amazing which is what I came for!

I tried the chicken sandwich, fries, & mac+cheese. All tasty & all safe. Only non-GF thing are the buns (they should just eliminate, lol), but they have a GF option. No cross contamination since everything else is GF :-) I recommend checking it out!!!

I visited on Dec 5 2022. The first thing I told the server was that I had a gluten allergy and I asked what I could eat. She said anything on the menu, if I wanted the sandwich or waffles they had gluten free versions. I ordered chicken and gluten free waffles, they were delicious but within an hour I was having a very bad reaction. Last night was hell, I suspect they gave me waffles that were not gluten free. There’s no contact email on their website but I’ve contacted them on Instagram to let them know.

Update on Dec 12: I’ve exchanged emails with the owner. He was very understanding and apologetic. They are only serving gluten-free waffles going forwards so this mix up shouldn’t happen again. The only item on the menu containing gluten now is the bun for the sandwich, and there is a gluten-free option. I’d recommend reconfirming they’ve given you the gluten-free bun when they bring your order out.

The thought of an entirely gluten free restaurant is like a dream come true. I asked what was not gluten free and only the waffle and sandwhich are not gluten free but can be made gluten free to order. Delicious juicy crispy chicken!! This place is amazing!

The fried chicken was tasty and the fries were fantastic. We weren’t a big fan of the gravy but the Brussels sprouts were pretty good. They are a lemon vinegar taste that We thought were okay.

I thought this place was too good to be true when I first heard of it. Whenever I am craving a comfort dinner I order from here. I know a lot of family who are celiac who also order from here and have never had an issue. I usually get it through Doordash because of COVID-19
