One of my favorite GF options in the Annapolis area and some of the best smoked wings I’ve ever had. Most of the main courses and side dishes here are GF by default, and the food is excellent. Never had a reaction to anything I’ve eaten here.
Definitely recommend getting their classic smoked chicken with the spicy dry rub. Also a big fan of the potato salad and Brussels sprouts as sides. Go check them out!

Was here in April 2023 - chose this place because of reviews stating that there was a dedicated fryer for fried chicken, etc. My server was very explicit that the fryer was no longer dedicated GF and that there were items marked GF on the menu I should not choose because I am a celiac and they're flash fried. My meal was delicious - I got the ribs. Their sauces, except for one, were GF. Not the experience I was hoping for but still a positive, safe, and delicious dinner out.

I see recently mixed reviews, I went this past Saturday evening and checked they do still have a dedicated fryer verified again with my server. I had the wings as an app with no issue, pulled pork as a meal with two sides. Sides are not marked but the sever was knowledgeable about which ones are gluten free or could be made gluten free (mashed potatoes and gravy are gluten free without gravy for example)

Visited for the fried chicken as well. Waiter swore up and down the fryer was separate. The chicken was fine, but I will admit I had KFC style fried chicken in mind and this is BBQ chicken with a very light flash fry vs. full breaded style. Still delicious, just hyped myself up too much!

A large part of the reason I tried was due to the prior reviews. There is no longer a dedicated frier. Maybe they did not have it up since it was a Thursday at lunch time. The server was knowledgeable about CC and the ribs were great, but it was disappointing to not get the fried chicken that was talked about from the other reviews.

My friend who has celiac recommended this place and I am so glad that I dined here! Quite a few GF options on the menu. Mouthwatering southern Gluten Free fried chicken — the first time I could eat it at a restaurant since my wheat sensitivity was diagnosed. They have a dedicated fryer and the server took the dietary restrictions seriously and asked appropriate questions.

This locally owned restaurant is not only full of delicious GF options from BBQ to fried chicken to shrimp and grits, they clearly understand cross contamination. The manger came to our table at the mention of dietary restrictions. She was clear that they have a dedicated fryer and safe handling protocols. There was only one GF dessert option but I was too full for dessert after ordering the chicken. Pulled Pork BBQ is also delicious.

I am FLOORED that I’m inputting this restaurant into Find Me GF! As in, it has been slept on for far too long. We were in the area for an event and wanted to grab a drink and maybe some food. GF options are clearly listed (except for the sides, so ask about those- the Cajun fries are unfortunately battered and therefore not safe). We sat at the bar and the bartender was incredible. She has a close relative with celiac and was able to answer all of my questions. THEY HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER. If you look at the pics I posted, you’ll see that there are a handful of GF fried options which are safe for us celiacs. I ordered the smoked fried chicken with a side of collard greens and Brussels sprouts. They typically come with candied pecans, but she knew right away to inform me that they are battered with flour and therefore not safe, but could be prepared without. The flavor of everything on my plate was outstanding, I almost teared up. The portion was huge! It was half of a chicken and the sides were hearty. I couldn’t finish it. The drinks were decent, I wasn’t crazy about my coconut crush but honestly I could care less because the food was insane. Wish I lived closer. Absolutely recommend, didn’t get sick, and never felt worried about cross contamination or staff knowledge.
