Usually feel very happy and safe here! As it is one of two places both myself and my roommate (who has numerous allergies: legumes, soy, tree nuts, peanuts) can enjoy together (I’m celiac and dairy and meat free).
Recently, I went in to order a takeout salad and - knowing that salad prep stations can be one of the most contaminated areas in a kitchen - asked about the safety of the particular item or if I was better off ordering hot food.
I got the canned response celiacs are terribly familiar with about not being able to guarantee anything, I apologized and asked for details on what they do to prevent cross contamination … just another comment on how they’re conscientious of allergies and that it’s peanut/ tree restaurant (again that’s great but unhelpful here).
Another worker who was taking my order asked if I had any questions I could help with, so I tried again to ask about what steps they take / if the salad bar was my worst bet. The original worker cut off her response with a snappy: “she’s not going to tell you anything different that what I said” or something along those lines.
At the time I was embarrassed and felt like I had been the one in the wrong for asking again. But in a restaurant known for its allergy awareness I don’t think asking about what measures they take is out of line at all.
This was the first truly poor experience I had here, and the only interaction I had with this woman. The man who I understand to be the owner has always been warm, welcoming, and gone out of his way to assure we felt safe eating here. All love to this establishment but a reminder that people with dietary restrictions are ~anxious~ and concerns are valid. openness about safe practices is how you establish trust and create repeat customers.

Great little place with a huge menu and many options for GF. They are very knowledgeable about allergies and even have breakfast all day which I loved. Would suggest making a reservation, and ordering the Italian sampler, the fried mozzarella is amazing.

Really sweet couple who run it. I love the concept. They offer an allergy friendly environment. No peanuts or treenuts at all. GF, and DF options, but not dedicated GF. They are extremely cautious. A huge menu. Food was ok.

Horrible place, received regular pasta not gluten free in my order. Item remade and chicken had been microwaved. Extremely tough. Owner was extremely rude

🚨BEWARE🚨 NOT CELIAC OR GLUTEN SENSITIVITY/ALLERGY FRIENDLY. Every time I visit my parents they recommend that I try this restaurant as they advertise as gluten free/celiac friendly as my mother and I are medically diagnosed with celiac. From my mother since she does not have Facebook: “My friend and I came to your restaurant today 4/20/19 and I was extremely disappointed. I’ve been coming to your restaurant since it opened due to it advertising that it is celiac friendly. I’ve had a range of experiences from getting a full tray of drinks spilled on me to today, ordering a gluten free grilled chicken sandwich and getting a regular sandwich, I questioned the bun, 1 waiter told me it was gluten free and the other waiter said it was not, it went back to the kitchen and was scrapped off onto a gluten free bun and served back to me.... SERIOUSLY! The only reason why I knew it was the same grilled chicken was because I originally put pepper on it and when they supposedly “replaced” the sandwich it came back on a gluten free bun with the same chicken and cheese with pepper that I had put on it. Anyone with celiac disease should not eat at this restaurant, they have no idea what they’re doing.
To the owners, you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to take place in your restaurant and you should have personally came to my table to apologize for this deliberate act. And... you just lost another customer.”

Had lunch with the wife while on vacation. We ordered the Fried Mozzarella and Boneless Chicken Wings. Both were good, Mimosas were good but the Maple Burbon Old Fashioned was on the weaker side and mostly soda water. Neither of us were sick and the food made it worth it.

So many GF/DF options. Fried mozzarella app and chicken parmigiana were delicious. Pasta cooked al dente. Dedicated fryer and they very much understand CC.

Fantastic restaurant! We went for lunch. There were 7 in our party and 3 of us require gluten free. They have an extensive menu with plenty of gluten free options. I had eggs Benedict, my daughter had GF chicken tenders and fries and another in our party had a Gf omelet with GF toast. The others in our party are not GF and were also very happy with their choices. Service was great as well.

I had the best GF pancake I’ve ever tasted, and it was filled with strawberries. The service was very good. The food came quickly. The server started by asking for allergies and told us that the restaurant is also entirely peanut and nut free. She said that the restaurant owners have all sorts of food allergies and are very aware of them. It was a great experience.

Despite asking many questions, I was served a burger on a gluten FULL bun. Thankfully somebody else had ordered a regular bun so I saw they were too similar and did not eat the food. Another GF diner in our group ordered the steak tips and was sick the following day.
There are many options but they do not know how to safely prepare GF food.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Delicious food, tons of variety. We came here our first night in the area because it was right next to our hotel. On our second night, we came back after two failed attempts at finding a safe restaurant in Burlington. The service is impeccable. My daughter loved the chicken toscana and the pasta Alfredo.

Owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable and know what’s in their food. Super helpful with any question you have. Well done!

This restaurant is a great find!!! Had an excellent late lunch here last week. Ate on the patio which was a little noisy with the trucks on the highway but it was still enjoyable. Gluten free and dairy free items are marked on the menu and there are many options. Our server also explained that they specialize in food intolerances and have a dedicated deep fryer. I had the Asian Noodle salad and a side of the sweet potato fries. Thoroughly enjoyed both and hope to go back soon.

This is my go-to restaurants as a Celiac. The knowledgeable staff can handle multiple food sensitivities. I highly recommend the fries cooked in a dedicated GF fryer!

Fantastic food and a real understanding of the staff of the needs for people who are gluten free. Have a separate fryer.

Their breakfast menu was awesome, and is available all day! It has so many great options, and GF is noted next to all items on the menu. They are very accommodating, and the servers were decently knowledgeable.
