My sister and I both are Celiac and if I get glutened my symptoms show within a short time. After one positive experience we had here, on 2nd Dec 2023 we visited the place again. My family and I explained about our allergy and were continously assured by the server that our food is gluten free. However, an hour into the dinner I passed out with sever stomach cramps. It's been almost a month and we both are still dealing with the effects of being glutened here. I will not recommend this restaurant to any Celiacs as they are (a) NOT CONSISTENT (b) IRRESPONSIBLE WITH GLUTEN FREE FOOD for celiac.

Both me and my sister have gluten allergy. We had been here once before and were fine. The second time also we were both assured that everything we were ordering was gluten free and it was absolutely safe. However, both she and I got glutened. An hour into the dinner my sister passed out in the restaurant because of severe stomach cramping. This place is clearly very inconsistent and not safe. It’s been a month since the incident and we are both still dealing with it.

Eat here quite regularly and have never been sick. Food comes labeled clearly when delivered. Even with all the other special requests I make (low fodmap) they never mess up. Truly delicious every time. They have seasonal specialty menus now and again as well.

I had the Philadelphia and avocado roll, awesome service, felt so safe here. No symptoms afterward (super sensitive to cross contamination). I would advise being specific about what your ordering as some titles of menu items are similar. Totally recommend!

Had sweet/spicy Wings, Crab Fried Rice, Kaprow rainbow roll and jala-machi roll - it was ALL delicious and we’ll definitely be back. It was nice eating this much variety and not feeling any effects.

Love this place! They do gf really well. Thai food and sushi. I’ve had success with both takeout and dine in. No extra charge for gf soy sauce. Rolls are yummy and fresh and the rice noodle dishes are super flavorful.

Really good food. I eat here a lot and have never had any issues with the service or food. They have a separate gluten free menu online, and items are clearly marked on the in person menu. I mention I have an allergy, and I have noticed my food comes out on a black plate vs the white plates used for non-allergy food. They have lots of options for gluten free plates or sushi, and they always replace the soy sauce on our table with the marked gluten free one. This is my safe place to go when I go out to eat and I always enjoy my time here.

GF Experience: KaProw seems to take GF seriously. They have a dedicated gluten free dinner menu and gluten free sushi menu. My family was starving after a day playing soccer in a nearby tournament, so we ordered a ton of food. Various Thai noodles, soups, and sushi. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and assured us everything would be gluten free. They brought us gluten free soy sauce and mentioned he wouldn’t bring fortune cookies to the table since they weren’t gluten free. A totally 5 star GF experience.

Overall Experience: I used to work around the corner from KaProw. It was a reliable lunch spot years-and-years ago. We were in the neighborhood and I took my celiac family there. The place is unassuming, in a strip mall off I-35 next to a tattoo shop. But don’t let that distract you. The place seems family owned / operated and they provide great service, good quality food, at a reasonable price. My wife said her GF pad-thai was the best she had ever eaten.

Very good quality food and felt the staff and chef were very knowledgeable about GF and DF. We had the spicy grilled duck, bacon fried rice, Apple blossom roll, rainbow roll, and tuna lover roll- all were excellent. My husband ordered the Philly roll (has diary so I couldn't try it) and said it paled in comparison to the other rolls.

I ordered online for pickup and made a note of the dishes that they needed to avoid cross contamination with. These dishes were all labeled with a green "GF" sticker and were placed in a separate bag than the other dishes. I got the GF Ka Prow Noodles option and the soft spring rolls and didn't have any issues. The staff was very communicative and the whole process was so easy. I will definitely be returning!

This place was very GF friendly! Hostess immediately asks if anyone needs a GF menu, and they actually care about keeping you safe. I rarely eat out without getting sick or having to pop a Benedryl as I'm a wheat allergy rather than celiac, but I was perfectly ok after eating here. AMAZING!

As for gluten friendly-less, this place is great. They have a whole separate menu for GF items and ask you at the door if you need one. The food itself was good. My 2 big issues. 1) service was so slow. It took 30 minutes of sitting at the table to order our dinner when we'd been ready for 20 minutes. 2) my entree had mushrooms, which were not mentioned on the menu anywhere. I was sharing the entree so my husband ate it with no problems. I only ate the noodles because it they hadn't been mixed into the sauce. They saw mention food allergies up front but if it's not mentioned on the menu how am I supposed to know which items contain it?

Wow! This is the best experience I’ve had since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 5 years ago. When you first walk in, they ask if you want a gluten free menu. When they took our order, they asked if we had any other allergies. They brought out gluten free soy sauce with the sushi. The Pad Thai was very good. At the end of the meal, the waitress asked if I wanted my fortune even though I couldn’t eat the cookie. Great service from beginning to end. My family will be back.

Amazing! New favorite place! The hostess greeted us asking if we needed a GF menu, I didn't even have to ask for it. The GF menu was gloriously full of delicious treats. I had a tuna roll, tom yum soup and a stirfry noodle entree. They even have a bunch of dessert options (which I was too stuffed to try... but next time I'll save room).

Besides being pretty good Thai, they are extremely conscientious about gluten-free. They have a completely separate dedicated gluten-free menu. Clearly labeled gluten-free soy sauce on the tables or upon request. And seem very mindful of allergens in general; I overheard the waitress about shellfish allergens at another table. This is the place!

Came here for lunch and loved the pad kee mao dish. For fun, I also ordered a sushi roll. When they seated us they asked without prompting if any of us required a gluten free menu. The gf menu has over 40 choices! And they brought out gluten free soy sauce with the sushi roll. It’s going to be tough to make the trip down to Thai Fresh with Ka Prow Thai so close.

Yay! I now know of 5 restaurants I can trust and I can finally ear sushi again! Other Americanized sushi restaurants use tempura flakes which contaminates the cutting board, the wiping towel, the knife and everything ...I haven't had sushi in years! (At a restaurant; I make it at home). Love Thai food too, so this a great place to eat!

So great to have SAFE Thai and sushi! They really know how to take care of Celiacs. When they put the dish down in front of you, they make sure to reiterate that what they are serving you is gluten free, soy free, etc. Btw-- soy free options in Asian cuisine -- what a treat! Well-priced, not fancy-- a great option for a casual dinner. Days later now and I did not get sick.
