pretty good crepe, a but expensive for the quality, but not bad. they do charge a bit extra for gluten free. cross contact is very present and I definitely wouldn't reccomend for celiac or bad allergies. they have vegan options as well.

Not allergen friendly, but the gluten free crepes were delicious and are large portions.

Says right on the menu: not safe for people with celiac
The crepes were really good. We got a mix of sweet and savory. They were very accommodating and neither of us got ill.

Friendly but crepe was very dry. Not a dedicated fryer but will change ladle if asked. One staff wasn’t masked which was uncomfortable.

I have worked at kagens now for two years and can say that while not everything is gluten free, we can make accommodations. Just let whoever is taking your order know of your allergies and ask to switch the griddle instrument. We do not have a dedicated gluten free griddle for crepes, but will take caution when needed. Some of our coffee syrups have modified food starch (aka gluten) so don’t be afraid to ask about ingredients! I have a lot of allergies and have helped the others learn to take precautions when needed. We are there to make you feel as comfortable about what you’re eating and drinking as possible!

There is not a dedicated cook too like others have mentioned so be careful, however the crepes are super fantastic. And the coffee is great. I give it 4 stars for the flavor but I still have some stomach issues after (common occurrence anyways)

Aug 11, 2018 They offer a gluten-free batter for crepes, however they do not use a dedicated area to cook them. They have a sign near the register that states they cannot guarantee cross-contamination. I told the lady behind the counter that I had Celiac's disease and she was honest with me when she said 'I would suggest you don't eat a gluten-free crepe in that case.' At least she was honest with me. I did not get sick from the coffee as others have reported.

I actually got glutened from the cup of coffee I got. my guess is all the flour they use gets in the air and all over the place.
No
Not safe for gluten free customers. The kid with an "attitude" behind the counter seemed more interested in telling me that he could not guarantee my crepe would be gluten free than telling me how we was going to clean up the crepe cooker covered in bits of lefover wheat batter. They do not have a dedicated crepe cooker for gluten free.

Delicious gluten free crepes. They clean off the crepe grill which is also used for regular crepes, but I have never had a reaction. The best thing is to go with someone and split a savory crepe and a sweet crepe. I heard that the gf crepe tastes better.
