There was a separate gluten free menu, so I felt safe eating here. I was nervous due to a labeling issue, as the gluten free menu said “miso soup” but the regular menu had specific types of miso soup, so I was worried I ordered the wrong one. The staff only knew as much as was on the menu and did seem a bit annoyed at me for asking. But I did not get sick and the eggplant I ate was the best eggplant I have ever had

This is my favorite sushi place, and I was ecstatic to hear from the chef that they try to be as gluten free as possible. The miso soup, spicy tuna rolls, salmon skin rolls, and many many other things are delicious and gluten free. Staff is very knowledgeable and will bring out tamari by request. I ❤ Kamado!
