All the staff were super nice and accommodating. There is a dedicated GF menu with GF soy sauce.
There was even GF dessert available when I went.

We ordered 3 main dishes and one entree. Everything was fresh and delicious, just a little too sweet for 2 of the sauces. My wife is severely coeliac and she told the staff upon arrival. They were extra cautious and the food served was 100% safe. We went to other restaurants pretending to be gluten free and she got sick. Not at Kazu. Or meal was super and the rest of the night too. We warmly recommend...

My favorite restaurant in Montréal! Small place and there is always a line up to get in. It's worth the wait. The GF tuna and salmon bowl is exceptional.

I recently went to Kazu and was blown away by how good the food and service was! As mentioned in other reviews, they have a gluten free menu. Expect about 2-3 items for each category (appetizer, main courses, grill, etc). I sat by the kitchen bar and I noticed that the staff took cross-contamination quite seriously with one person even cleaning the grill! I shared the tuna salmon salad rice bowl, onigiri, grilled mushroom, and grilled sea bass with my partner and everything was so good. (Note, I would pass on the onigiri though as it was just rice + seasonings and the other items on the GF menu probably would've been more worthwhile). That said, I HIGHLY recommend the tuna salmon salad rice bowl and the grilled sea bass. I am an extremely happy camper and was not glutened! Note, they don't take reservations and there will be a wait. But it was worth it and I can't wait to go back.

This place is rated as one if the best restaurant in the world! Prepare to wait in line for about 1 hour for the best meal of your life. This is a tiny Japanase restaurant that makes no fuss with the decor but focusses 100% on food. To my surprise they have a gluten free menu. I had the sea bass which was spectacular in every way and a plate of seasonned gf sashimi. The small cooking team seem very aware of cross contamination. I highly recommend it. (Expect to pay around 50$ -60$ per person)
