Review of Knoebels Amusement Resort

We went to the park not knowing if we could find anything for our son or not. He just got diagnosed with Celiac last week. Everything is very new to us as we are trying to learn how to navigate through his needs.

We asked at the guest service if there were any options for GL dining. We were directed to the steak house. Upon arrival to the stand, I asked a lot of questions regarding what GF options they have and how they prepare/handle the food. James who was the one of the cooks, answered every single question with care and understanding. He ensured me that GF chicken fingers and GF French fries are cooked in a separate frier separately from gluten items. Then he explained that they always change gloves once they receive the oder. They also cleaned the utensils/used clean ones. I stood and watched them how they cook and had no concerns. Then another cook (Candace)who worked with James came to me and ensured me that they were using clean utensils. She was very kind and understanding as well. Then they served GF meal on a separate/ disposable tray. I feel it was very well handled by the both employees and felt safe to serve to my son. Even being new to the routine, I had no concerns.
