We had the most humiliating experience at Kobe tonight. The cook insisted our food was GF. But the reality is that he was dragging my steak through regular gluten soy. All the while continuing to say it’s GF ma’am over and over. At this point everyone was staring at us and continued to stare at us the entire meal. But had they just used GF soy on the grill in the first place as requested, no one would have known any different. :( You can’t mix a teppanyaki grill with gluten and say anything on the grill is GF. Seriously humiliating. If you decide to go, talk to the manager to make sure the entire table will be GF before they even start cooking. Save yourself the humiliation of the back and forth with the cooks.

Staff was knowledgeable. GF soy sauce was used for the whole table. They had separate GF sauces and soups and salad was GF. Enjoyable experience.
They had gluten free soy sauce and were very knowledgeable about what I could and couldn’t have. Delicious too!

"* Wheat Gluten/Soy – KOBE uses soy sauce in all our dressings and sauces. Persons with wheat or gluten allergies should not consume soy sauce."
They cook the entire table GF so no issues. My daughter who has celiac has never had an issue here. Our #1 go-to spot.
The staff was knowledgeable and ensured there was no cross contamination.
My kids are celiac and they made their food first. Used the Nima sensor tested the main dish and it tested gluten free. Kids had no reactions.

The staff was very knowledgable. The moment I said Wheat allergy the waitress told me what to avoid. She also brought me GF soy sauce. The Hibachi chef cooked all of my food first to avoid any cross contamination. Every time there was seasonings he would ask if that was ok! This is the best trained staff I have ever encountered. It was a great show too.

Pretty much anything on the menu can be made gluten-free and they will make your food first!

My food was prepared first before the rest at the table, which helped keep it GF. The staff had separate sauces, soup, and salad. Will be back!

I ate at the teppanyaki section. I felt bad because they made my food first before they could start on the other's meals, but they did do great to keep everything separate. Food was good, but not as great as the price. I had the steak and lobster.

Excellent choice for a celebration dinner! My kids and I are gluten free and the rest of the table was not (there also was a shellfish allergy). The chef made sure to keep everything separate - did an excellent job! We will definitely be going back!
Went here with a large group for a birthday celebration. They were great dealing with my allergy. Cooked my food first and away from anything gluten.
