Review of La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza

Ate here recently a second time. I wanted to give it a second go because the first time was pretty underwhelming. Again, not so great; I concur with what others are saying, the crust is not very good. It's "personal" sized (and about the same price as the typical larger gf crusts) and sort of a flatbread style, in that it's quite thick. The extra thickness doesn't add anything as the crust is rather tasteless. Additionally, the toppings are quite sparse except for the cheese, which gets piled on... perhaps they're hoping the fat would substitute the small layer of red sauce? I asked for extra this time and was instead given a bowl to spoon it on top.

The service was exceptional and the specialty lemonade delicious. I just think you can do much better in Bellingham for a gluten free pizza.
