Great food. Unfortunately our waitress was not very helpful with my dietary concerns. I asked if the Pan Seared Sea Scallops with a mushroom risotto was GF. She said "I think so". I asked her to check with the chef. She said "No, I'm pretty sure it's safe." This back and forth should not happen! I requested that she speak directly with the chef since my last gluten attack involved an ambulance to the hospital. She spoke with him. The dish was fine. This back and forth was totally unnecessary.

Delicious, real Italian restaurant with GF pasta. They only have penne but any pasta dish can be made. We had the penne peppered vodka and also the cavateli pomodoro 😋. I also did a Ceasar salad (no croutons) and a antipasti selection. No celiac reactions! If we are ever in the area again (or on 84 through Waterbury), we will go back!
