I love it here. That being said, the fryer is shared so fried items are not celiac safe. I order the handmade tortillas to go with the salsa in place of the chips if I’m particularly hungry. I also go at times when they’re not slammed so that I can ask questions and know that the kitchen has a little breathing room. Last night I sat at the bar and had Anna as my server. She was great. She checked on the Carne Adovada for me and we learned that it is safe. I rarely eat meat but this is tender, flavorful and delicious. I got some tortillas and used the meat for tacos. I even had some leftover to enjoy for breakfast. The rice, beans, and pozole that it is served with were also safe. Another favorite dish of mine is the Huevos Rancheros. You need for them to substitute fresh made tortillas for the fried tortillas but it still tasted great. Know that you need to choose items that are safe but I’ve eaten here since they opened and have never had a problem.

They recently changed chefs and apparently changed up how some of the food items were made. Things I used to be able to eat, I ate there and was so so ill. I will not be eating here again

The food was amazing, I had the enchiladas carnitas. They were great some of the best I have ever had, I also tried the queso with the corn tortillas, not chips. I also felt terrible later on. So if you have celiacs be cautious because I had issues here. That being said I want to give it another shot, it was really good.

Uh hummmm mmmm mmmm. Looking for AMAZING Mexican food? It’s right here. They have many gluten free items. I ordered the combination plate because I never get to order a combo plate due to the glute. I had a tamale, an enchilada, posole, carne adovada, beans, rice and a taco. (I know slowww down). I actually ate or tested all but the beans, rice and taco. I could not take even one taste test of those after testing everything else. All I ate was really amazing. The carne adovada was my absolute favorite. It was spicy with a lot of flavor. Will be back and will make sure I don’t eat all day before I go! BTW…Sad news, if you at GF you cannot eat anything fried including the chips. (Which actually worked out because I was able to taste test more!)

They are a great restaurant and very knowledgeable about their ingredients. Because it is New Mexican cuisine, it is based on corn for many of the dishes and tortillas. It is rare in New Mexico to find the sauces they have gluten free! Definitely recommend!

Very good! I tested the taco plate with my NIMA: refried beans, rice, chicken, and pork in corn tortillas. It came back all smiles! Safe food when traveling, priceless! Great little patio space. I'm from Texas, so the spice is like level 0 in my opinion. Haha. But still tasty.

Very knowledgeable staff and the food was phenomenal!!! Definitely will be back. I wouldn’t recommend the chips to someone with celiac because they are fried first thing in the morning in the shared fryer before anything else is fried. They change their oil each day before frying the chips

The bartender knew her stuff. As soon as I said I was GF she explained that the chips are fried in a shared fryer. A lot of the menu is GF (not marked). I had the combination plate with a lengua taco, cheese enchilada, and a tamale and some other things. It was a lot of food and it was delicious.

This place was amazing. I didn’t eat the chips & salsa because of a shared fryer, but the combo plate was so delicious. I agree with the last review, I feel like I can never order a variety plate at restaurants so I loved the variety. The pork shoulder, enchilada, & taco were especially amazing. Would definitely go back. It’s a shared kitchen, but they do their best to accommodate any allergy. None of the cooked meats share surfaces with flour tortillas, they were very aware and I did not get sick.
