Surprised by the positive reviews! Truly. While lots is marked GF on the menu, they are very unsure about cross contamination, so this is not safe for serious allergies. The manager refused to come talk to me! After asking a lot of questions with the waitress- Turns out the chips are fried in a shared fryer- so UNSAFE. I ended up trying the tamales after requesting glove changes and figuring out how they were separately processed. They use Masa Harina and I did not react. My friend had Chile rellenos. But THEN… We can honestly say this is the worst Mexican food we have ever had! We lived in NM for many years, and in Colorado most of my life and adore Mexican food, and this was seriously bland mush! Even though I didn’t react because of my own knowledge and diligence, It was a definitely a bad experience overall.

So so good! There are lots of items marked GF. The waitress was very understanding and knowledgeable. She offered to microwave my corn tortilla on a plate with a paper towel on top when I asked about how they would be heated up. When she brought our food the first thing I saw was the tortilla keeper and I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat the tortilla. Then I saw the plate with the paper towel. Yay! They have rellenos that are GF! I haven’t had one for 2 years and that was always my favorite. The ones that are gf are not deep fried, but so tasty. The green chile is gf and tasty. The chips are gf. I had a Silver Patron margarita that I asked for the Gram Grand (I think this is the ingredient that was listed on the menu. Whatever it was our Internet search said it contained gluten) to be replaced with Grand Marnier. It was a fabulous meal and I felt safe.
We just ate here again on our way to Moab. 9-24-2022. It was just as good. The chips are safe and they are very knowledgeable. This time I had an egg battered chile relleno smothered in green chile. Unfortunately the crispy rellenos aren’t safe. I also had a beef tostado with refried beans and rice with a side of guacamole.

Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options and cross contamination. She even double checked the desert to make sure they used cornstarch in the pan instead of flour. The food was great, would definitely recommend!
Great food. A wide variety of choices. Very helpful waitstaff. Will definitely return.
Great service, great good and very knowledgeable about gluten free. The menu is marked with GF items and the chips are always GF as well! Our new fave in town!
Awesome food! Wonderful gluten free pancakes, the green chili is gf too. Very nice people
