So, I can’t speak for menu items as much in this review - I have a feeling cross contamination could be an issue here because they do use a lot of flour tortillas, etc. BUT! The chips are fried in a dedicated fryer, the green salsa is amazing, and the drinks are great. If you want a little margarita + chips and salsa night with friends, you can do that here safely :)

I went with family and was assured that any taco or enchilada would be made gluten free by just using a corn tortilla. Plate comes, I eat it, and have been wrecked for days now. I’m pretty sure they either used a flour tortilla or their sauce had gluten in it.

I was really excited to try this, but it is not safe for Celiacs. Our waiter was nice, until he tried to sneakily up charge us until we asked about it, which was a little annoying. Then, I ordered corn chicken tinga tacos and told them it needed to be on corn tortillas. I got my food (and this is where it’s my own fault), I took a bite without looking because I was in conversation with friends. I immediately realized it was a flour tortilla, and spit it out. We told the waiter, and he expressed that he was so sorry. We explained again that it was actually a big deal, and he said he felt “so bad.” I was in pain for days, but that was not the worst part. When the check came, it looked like this:

Taco plate … $14.00 Taco plate … -$14.00

Taco plate … $16.00

We asked why it looked like this, and he said “the $14 was the plate you sent back, and I put fajita chicken on the new one, so I upgraded your chicken.”

Um?? We were so mad. He acted as if he was doing us a big favor to remove the $2 up charge to put chicken I didn’t want on my food after making me severely ill. Very frustrating experience.
