I have been here several times without getting sick. Staff are very knowledgeable about what is gluten free on the menu, and they have a dedicated gluten free frier.

Edited review: For years Leon’s has been my go-to celiac safe restaurant, but things seem to have changed recently. After my recent visit, I got very ill. I hope it was a one time lapse, but be cautious.

Leon’s no longer has a gluten free menu, but they said most of their menu items can be made gluten free. I got a burger (with no bun - they don’t have gluten free bread) and fries. They offered to put it on arugula for me to substitute for the bun. The fries are made in a separate fryer. The food was delicious and I did not sick! I would definitely go back.

Great experience! Staff very knowledgeable. Started with fried okra which was done gluten free for the table & all enjoyed. I had a scallops special for my meal and it was very good! I enjoyed everything & would recommend anyone to go!

They have a dedicated gluten free fryer! The gluten free menu always has plenty of options and everything I've had is amazing. They also have delicious gluten free dessert options! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places!

Food was excellent. My hubby (non-celiac) shared the sweet and sour shrimp, fried calamari and bucket of fries with me! All were outstanding! The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. I only wish we had more restaurants like yours in Iowa - guess I'll have to come back here whenever we visit! Thanks for an excellent meal!!

The French fries here are amazing. They have a ton of gluten free sauces for dipping that are very good. I have celiac disease and didn't get sick! The hostess, server, and other staff members talked to us about the measures they take with cross contamination. I ate the calamari, fries, and endive salad. All so good!!!

Extensive GF menu. Knowledgable staff (one of the waitresses has CD). The fries are prepared in a dedicated fryer and all of the sauces are GF. They are to die for!

GF Fries! So much to choose from. My waitress was a fellow Celiac. Almost everything was GF. Delicious.

SO GOOD. many options including 3-4 dessert options. Great service. Food came out quickly.

They have a gluten free menu, and it is sooo good. Their fries and dipping sauce are amazing, and the chicken dish on the gluten free menu is excellent. They also usually have a gluten free dessert.

This place has a detailed and extensive GF menu with a lot of the regular menu items redone with different sauces, seasonings to be GF. Also, they have a nice GF drink menu.
